yes, I understand those who like their tobacco's really like them... it's something I should (and probably will down the road) revisit as I've always felt, as a former 41 year smoker, that I should (and could) also really like them. It's just going to be a matter of trying lots of flavors until I find one I like.

suggest you try super concentrated french pipe (i get mine from ECJ) whenever you decide to get a tobacco. i am not a fan of most tobacco flavorings, just too fake tasting to me no matter how i mixed them. but, this french pipe tobacco is quite good, has vanilla undertones with hints of caramel (least that is what i taste). really good and closest to tasting like real tobacco without having to buy N.E.T flavorings, even leaves a slight taste in your mouth like you had real tobacco but, without the ashy taste.. got rid of all my tobacco flavorings after finding this one!

The only thing I would add: as you do your research, read reviews of flavors and recipes... pay attention to who is sharing the information. If finding the best (insert flavor name here) is "gold" then finding someone who shares a similar palate to your own is "diamonds" or "platinum." You will read over, and over, and over again that taste is subjective... because it is true. Finding someone who perceives flavor the same way you do is priceless!!

Whenever I make a note of a recipe, or review, or a critique, I make sure to include who it was that shared it and/or a link/bookmark to where I found it. It allows me to more easily find additional material and also give proper credit if/when I share it with others.

SC French Pipe... mmmmm, your description sounds really good. I've seen that mentioned in a few threads as a good one... thank you. I have a flavor order that I wanted to hit the fire button on a couple of days ago and I think I will grab a 10ml bottle of that just for kicks. I just checked the website here in Canada that I order from and they do have it. Once in a while, just once in a while, I do have a powerful craving for that taste of a ciggie lol

When I first started DIY many suggested or promoted the RY4's and WTA or NET's. Eventually I tried some of them and while I will say they are OK with the Tobaccos I make I find the ones that taste like real Tobacco are not an enjoyable vape for me anymore. Just the other day I needed a bit more Nicotine because it was one of those days and I used some Buck Naked that I had sitting around and although it was good it was just too much like a cigarette for my tastes now. 2 years ago I was on a mission to find something that tasted like a Marlboro and now it just doesn't do it for me anymore. I have 4 different LB Tobacco Flavors and maybe it is that I mix them a certain way but tastes do change.

Hey folks! I'm back after a rather nasty, though fortunately quickly fought off with about 28 hours sleep, bout of food poisoning!

My order came in yesterday, and I will be trying a few of the recipes and flavor combos mentioned here soon, as well as all the flavors on their own in 2-5ml batches to get an idea of basics. For the time being, I think I'll mix up 6mg nic with one flavor at recommended ℅ to have something to puff on at work. Recipes will be kept as screenshots on my PC as I do keep important data in that format and have it backed up to several HDD's on a weekly basis(16 year old me had built server features into a gaming oriented PC LOL).. good times, miss high school..

I will also be ordering 5ml vials or bottles today if I can find the time. Till then I will be using a shot glass or something to mix xD hopefully I have some sample bottles laying around.

Lemme know when you try my recipes and let me know how you like them

I have been puffing on your cappuccino recipe and it's great! First 10ml was 3% cappuccino and 1% of the others. Second time around I did the same, but this time added .5% or 1% gingerbread out of curiosity and 6mg nic(because out of nic juice for Disneyland) and it's even better, though I do get an intense feeling of frostingy sweetness at the back of my throat when chain vaping on a fused Clapton @55w and over. Should I dial the marshmallow back a bit?

Hey all! Did a peppermint flavor this morning. It's pretty close to a candy cane, which is what I was going for, though I feel like it needs a little bit more of a creaminess. Should I add some sweet cream to the next batch? I'm thinking maybe 1% of sweet cream would be a good start. As well, the koolada is not at listed percentage, I added 4 drops to the bottle. Everything else is the same.

The sweet cream I have is Capella sweet cream. I was wondering if it would maybe help the recipe a little bit.
I am afraid I have not used CAP's Sweet Cream. I did a quick look-see on bull city and elr and see user feedback. Common impressions seem to be; heavy (cream/mouth feel) even light custard, and tending toward yogurt/cheese (though this appears to disappear with a little time) though there is a minority opinion of weak/watery.
I think it is worth a shot, but keep it low to start, maybe 0.50-1.0%(?) and keep the batches small until you find out if it is going to work for you. My personal mint explorations did benefit from a touch of cream (TFA's Sweet Cream) but it easily went from a creamy lifesaver type to a mint ice cream which was NOT what I was trying for.

Hey everybody! Since I hit the candy cane pretty close and liked that cappuccino flavor done, as well as tried a little test of the ginger bread.. I went nuts and did these. Again, koolada was not done at a percentage. This time 11-13 drops to the 50ml bottle. Gingerbread pre-steeped good, candy cane good, have yet to try the coffee flavor. Have high hopes for the coffee, as I read a review somewhere that listed a recipe only slightly different than the one posted. Coffee and gingerbread will sit in my underwear drawer for a couple days to a week. Have yet to play around with the fruit flavors much, I need more bottles! Need to play around with the candy cane just a little bit more, specifically with the koolada as I want more of a cool sensation, though for now it's better than another candy cane I had when first quitting analogs.

Anybody know if graham cracker and/or vanilla custard goes good with gingerbread?

I actually did cut it down. What happened was that I had mistakenly put 1.5℅ marshmallow and about the same gingerbread. .5% gingerbread, .75℅ marshmallow fixed it for me. Thanks, buddy!
No problem. If you need help with more recipes let me know. Of course you would have to tell me which flavors your using first though:)

Well I was a smoker for close to 40 years and I was always a Marlboro Man. When I first attempted quitting I was using Cig-A-Likes that even looked like a Marlboro! I was using Buck Naked American Tobacco and Turkish Tobacco to refill the cartridges and kept using it when I finally went to a MOD after I had quit cold turkey. Then I started the search for a flavor and after sampling hundreds of them I finally found a fruit I actually enjoyed. At that time I was saying I will never be vaping Deserts, Chocolate or Yogurt? Now I am making my own and like I said I have almost 100 flavors right now.

My story is similar. I bought the Joye 510 from Cignot back in 2010 and vaped it regularly. By the end of the first week I realized that I had shifted from 2 PAD down to 6 cigarettes a day thanks to vaping.

A year later I was still vaping and smoking those 6 cigs a day. I ordered a Provari V2 and promised myself that once it came in I'd give up those last few smokes. The Provari did the trick and I stopped the day that the Provari arrived.

For most of us, giving up cigs is a combination of mental determination along with some kind of nic replacement. For me, it was vaping.

I vaped store bought and mail order juices up until about 6 months ago when I started DIY. I'm now vaping some of the best juices I've ever tasted in my own creations and the recipes of others.

Just a small update, more for a note:

Made a second batch of the 50ml gingerbread, but adjusted -.5 pg, for +.5 gingerbread flavoring.
Current try is 4% Gingerbread, 1% each of FA Marshmallow and Cap Sweet Cream.

Last batch was great btw. Not perfect, but great. I suspect it would possibly taste fantastic with a little more gingerbread, and some sort of syrupy taste. Disneyland's gingerbread men seem to have a tad bit of a syrup(wish I knew what kind) soaked into them.

Also, recently met somebody that had a lovely Oreo flavor he had managed to clone supposedly based off an existing juice(fryd??), as well as somebody at work who had good things to say about the real one. Gahhhh wish I had asked for his recipe.. chances I'll meet him again are slim to zip. Universe is screaming to start working on a cookies and cream, with fudgey or custardy notes to it. That will be on the list of future flavors, HA!

Syrup? I'd try a little maple syrup flavor with that.

Also, another idea for playing with gingerbread: one of my fave regular e liquids is Daddy Pig's Gingerbread Ice Cream Sammich, so you might also want to experiment with adding an ice cream flavor like TFA vanilla bean ice cream or similar.
