Syrup? I'd try a little maple syrup flavor with that.

Also, another idea for playing with gingerbread: one of my fave regular e liquids is Daddy Pig's Gingerbread Ice Cream Sammich, so you might also want to experiment with adding an ice cream flavor like TFA vanilla bean ice cream or similar.

:w00t: OH MY GOD YES! I LOVE YOU! That's a fantastic idea! Can't believe I didn't think of something based off my childhood favorite form of ice cream! I can see that developing into something very complex and delectable as my knowledge of mixing grows.

Yeah, VBIC is a pantry staple (that's Vanilla Bean Ice Cream lol)... it goes with just about anything. I'm actually sitting here trying to think of something it wouldn't go with.

When I first started DIYing I saw people referring to VBIC and had no idea what they were talking about.

VBIC added to list of flavors to buy. Id like to order soon but.. Christmastime hurts yo  ahhhh well, means more time for a better put together list. I know there are a lot of lesser used flavors that are used in small amounts to compliment, or compose more complicated flavors (fruity COPYRIGHTDMCA)

This might be helpful to you as well, despite the fact that it's somewhat limited.

Flavor Charts | BAKE IT RIGHT

Even though it's meant for baking it provides lots of guidance for flavor pairings you might not otherwise have thought of. I peruse it once in a while to get new ideas.

Don't get TFA vanilla bean ice cream..it has a peppery note for most.

Get Capella vanilla bean ice cream instead. It's way better on every level and thank me later.

I've got to politely disagree with @Adam harris on his TFA assessment. While I don't doubt that he gets a "peppery" note, and have read a couple of similar comments here and there, I would not say that "most" do. I would be more inclined to say "a few do."

If you check out ECF's TFA, and TFA Recipes, threads you will see it used frequently. I also like to use vendor websites like Bull City Flavors who display customer comments/ratings for their flavors. While this is far from all-inclusive, or scientific, it still provides some feedback. Bull City shows 17 ratings for TFA's VBIC and two are 4/5 while the remaining fifteen are all 5/5. To me (at least) this is another indicator that "most" are not finding this "peppery."

I find that BOTH TFA and CAP VBIC have their usefulness in my kit. Both offer a good vanilla ice cream taste, while the CAP version offers a deeper "richness" and heavier/thicker "mouth-feel". Of course, as with any flavor, your mileage may vary.

I also recommend with any flavor that is new to you; buy small samples first! Find out if you like it before you commit to a 1oz., 4oz., or larger investment.

Thank both of you for pointing the suggestions, again :D
I'm planning on making one big order composed of different creams, custards, fruits, tobaccos, etc. including the same flavor from different companies. I take it a good 50 or so in amounts of 10-15ml(whatever sizes available) shouldn't cost much more than $80-100. Of course, each one will have research done to it so I don't end up with another FW Grape(tastes terrible to me) when I shoulda taken another version from them(I believe there's a grape juicey one)
