Flavor Longevity

Im starting to develop a DIY stock of flavors and add-ons. I think I know where I am going, but I have the question of how long does a bottle of flavor last at normal temp in a dark storage spot.

I assume that there are variances but it is still something that I want to get a handle on. I currently have TFA/FA/FW/CA and some add-ons that just seem to be made by someone else.

On another note, I got a "sour" flavor, but I was looking more for a tart. Anyone have a recommendation?

Only flavor i have heard people mention that has gone bad for them is cotton candy.

Shockingly i can confirm this can happen as the only flavor so far that has gone bad for me is Blue Raspberry cotton candy as that flavor did go belly up on me after about 14 months .

All other flavors are still good to go .

Citric acid from NN adds a great tartness. I am sure some others may have this but it is the only one I have tried.

Yes, I have sweetener and prefer to keep the sweet and tart separated as ingredients. But, @sketchness , I am not sure who "NN" is?

So, seems like flavors last a while.
