So, I am fairly new to DIY, but love it. So far, I have been using Flavor Apprentice flavoring, and really like them. I do see a lot of flavors our there from FlavorArt and LorAnn. I have even seen Flavor West mentioned here and there.

So, I am going to pick up every flavor from Flavor Apprentice -- well, the ones that don't sicken me (ham? eeew). I have several Flavor Apprentice, and like them, so getting more is without worry. I have heard that FlavorArt isn't as good as it used to be, but I do like some of the flavors from FSUSA, so there are some that I also like.

So, here are my questions:

Which manufacturers are best for chocolates, candies, tobaccos, cremes, sweets, etc?

What other manufacturers are out there that I haven't mentioned (since those are the only ones I know)?

Which manufacturers could I find locally?

Which one is the most bang for your buck?

Which ones would be considered gourmet?

Thank you in advance, for helping the noob. :)

Lorann's are more candyish than the others in my opinion, and they're the only ones that I've found locally. I think Lorann or TPA is cheapest, FA is imported so it's more expensive.

FA has more realistic fruits I've heard, TPA's taste more candyish in my opinion than FA is supposed to be, but not as candyish as Lorann to me.

I don't vape tobacco, so can't help you there. TPA and FA are both good for chocolate, cremes and sweets. TPA and FA are probably more gourmet than the others.

Capella apparently has good flavors that can be mixed alone, but I haven't used them and they seemed expensive the last time I looked them up. Haven't tried any of theirs yet.

That's all the answers I have I think.

Is that why you had a 2oz bottle of pizza? :D

I never buy lower then that size bottle. I normally buy in 4oz bottles the flavors I like but now I can buy a gallon, lol, on the bulk list. The flavors are so cheap why not buy the bigger size and try it? If you hate it then pass it forward I say.

Flavor Apprentice/Perfumers Apprentice has bulk rate, its right on their page. Now I'm confused but thats easy to do

I am pretty sure that LD had asked them about the LA flavors. I told him that once he found what he loves from PA the 4 oz is the best price from their site :)

I asked OSDIY, if I could get a bulk rate, if I got every one of the 136 flavors. They said they didn't have a bulk rate. Then someone said to try ordering from the manufacturer. I may do that, and spend a couple hundred bucks buying them.

Oh that was probably me you are talking about. Loranns site has muti bottle packages and PA has a good price on their 4 oz ;)

Yes, you are my "someone". ;-) I did ask OSDIY about getting each vendor in a bulk rate. They just don't have any. :(

I was going to start with LorAnn, since they don't have as many, but I may start with the biggest.
