I am using a smok ego cloud sub ohm kit and flavor was awesome when i first got it but after about 2 or 3 weeks the flavor has been muted, i have changed coil once every week or two and it makes no difference, i thought it was vapers fatigue but friends who tried it when i first got it have tried it again and about 3 of them say the same thing. the only thing i can think it might be is that i was using mostly 0nic as i was waiting for nicotine base to arrive but even juice that was premade with nicotine has diminished in flavor so im not sure what it could be. any ideas? cheers

they are occ so just been rinsing them with water then re priming through the wick holes its normally makes the flavour better for the next tank i run through but then it just goes back but i cant clean it every time i fill up as a tank only lasts about an hour , just had to replace one because i tried to clean it with a little pipe cleaner and it moved the coil and made a hot spot so will see if a brand new coil with fresh juie makes a difference

If you are a heavy chain vapor then you need to change your coils quite often. I'm a chain vaper but I use the Rebuilable section. I put fresh cotton every day right after rinsing and burning off the coils. If I don't, the taste gets muted.

There's no way I could go 3 days. It gets yucky or muted after one full day.

Replace the coil with a brand new coil.

Washing those types of heads will result in muted flavor. They are made to be disposable...

^^^ agree with @stevegmu -- replace the coils/wicks instead of cleaning disposable ones.

Yup. Regardless of how well you think you're cleaning them, there will still be deposits of gunk that impede wicking action. Even if those deposits are microscopic, they affect performance over time.
