VaporBomb staff:

It seems you have continual, chronic, repeated problems keeping enough flavoring in stock for your good flavors. I am growing weary of checking the website to order say, snickerdoodle or strawberry pie, only to find they are out of stock or worse, limited to 5mL bottles and 5mL bottle pricing. What does this mean? There don't appear to be quantity limitations on the number of 5mL bottles you can buy, it just means you now have to pay $19.75 instead of $14.95 for 30 mL. If you need to charge more for certain flavors for cost reasons, why not be upfront about it. If that's not the reason, then there should be a quantity limit when you only allow 5mL sales in that flavor. And for heaven's sake, there needs to be more communication with your customers via the website/forum/newsletter, whatever, so that we don't need to continually check the website.

Siouxsie,
The reason for the limitations at time is the we sell so much to some products that the vendors can't meet our demands. To give you an idea, we listed 2500 bottles of snickerdoddle the last listing of that product and it sold out in less that 24 hours. The limits are set so that everyone may be able to order there all day vape in at lease a 5ml. As soon as quantities are back in stock. And you may say that we sould seek another vendor. We have taken great pride to assure that we only get the very best ingredients, and not all are created equal. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. We bring down the quantity only to assure that all my enjoy.
And yeah, I know, if I don't like it, I can take my business elsewhere. Just thought you might like to explain yourself, because I can't be the only one annoyed by this.

Please explain.

Ok I hate to say anything negative in regards to one of my favorite vendors... but you make a great point. I noticed the quanity limitation on Strawberry Waffle which is very disapointing to me. Whats strange is there is no quantity limit on regular waffle, blueberry waffle or strawberry pie. If the base flavor supply was running low wouldnt there be limitations on other waffle or strawberry flavors as well? Maybe Im missing something here. I would really appreciate an explaination on this. Also, some flavors like banana cream pie and strawberry and orange cream soda are NOT available in 5ml... only 10 and 30.. which doesnt make sense at all.

Some liquids are going to mix better in different volumes, to achieve the best possible flavor and consistency, some of the liquids may require different volumes to do so. I can understand that quite well.

If it requires more of certain flavor, due to potency in a solution then to create a solution of the desired concentration and composition will require adjustments.

As for their limitations, well I don't know. From a marketing perspective, supply and a demand comes to mind. From a caring, loving e-juice vendor, one might consider the possibility that they are 'rationing' to make sure there is some available to others given current and expected demand.

I guess you'll have to wait for Vaporbomb to see if they choose to tell us about their decisions on availability in their buisnessplan. (tongue in cheek)

In all fairness, strawberry Pie has now been available in all sizes for a couple days. Just no one told us they added it since I posted. Communication. But you are talking about strawberry waffle now too. 5mL only. Apple pie out of stock.

I really can't and it's not why they do it.
If it requires more of certain flavor, due to potency in a solution then to create a solution of the desired concentration and composition will require adjustments. Many other vendors manage 5, 15, 30 mL in all their flavors. Now if you were talking about 1mL or less, I might agree. In any case, VB offers their flavors most of the time from all pg to 80VG/20PG to many ratios in between, so how is this a valid argument?

As for their limitations, well I don't know. From a marketing perspective, supply and a demand comes to mind. From a caring, loving e-juice vendor, one might consider the possibility that they are 'rationing' to make sure there is some available to others given current and expected demand. If they're rationing, why are you allowed to select multiple 5mL bottles in checking out? As I mentioned extensively in my original post.

yes it's clear, very clear what your opinion is and that's totally fine, of course. I was asking for an explanation for why I couldn't buy what I want from our caring, loving vendor and some communication when stuff is unavailable and why along with when it becomes available again. They seem to prefer emails, which usually takes minimum two days response. Why have a forum, unless it's just for the folks that want to say great things about vaporbomb all the time? And they've got that. Fact is nobody is perfect. I understand but I've said what I came to say.

If there is something in limited quantities that you really want in a 30, many customers will call or email and ask about purchasing that in a 30ml. We explain how they can go about doing that. VB has never sold something it did not have on hand and we wont. We are sorry that some products go so quickly. You have to understand that we do not premix bottles of e-liquid. everyone of those bottles is hand made; NOT MASS PRODUCED. There are no batches here. Again if there is something in limits stock that you wish to purchase in a larger quantity email or call something can usually be worked out.

I believe we agree siouxsie.

I sell ammunition, and last year there was a whole lot of demand for just about every caliber out there, call it fearmongering, great marketing, what have you, the fact was everyone wanted 9mm.

I was down to my last 800 or so boxes of regular old fashioned fmj. I had 50rds/11 dollars, which was somehow still better than most places, some people came by wanting to by the whole kit and kaboodle for 10/box. I said no, not because of the lost money (well partially), but because I knew I wouldn't be able to fulfill my other customers needs.
You know, come to think of it, most of those customers jumped ship as soon as they found better prices, so this may be a poor example.

I reckon if your needs aren't met, go where they are. Man, I'm not very coherent without coffee.

So sorry to hear it takes so long for you to get a response from VB.......I have never had it take more than a few hours (Monday through Friday). Maybe, just maybe, it could be the way you come across and it could possibly put some people off.

I've had my share of situations and they have always responded quickly and professionally with me and have always answered any questions I've had.
