Flavor Quickly Turning Pruney

When I use my "Big Rig", an EVOD battery with a KangerTech Protank 3, lately it seems like after just a day or two of using it the original flavor I put in it will shift to a pruney flavor. What causes this?

Using a mech mod leans me towards thinking it is a heat issue.
Over cooking your juice.

I see. That would mean holding the button down too long then, assuming all the parts are in proper working order?

I have to switch juice every other day or so anyway, I get tired of the same flavor.
