Flavor variation with different tanks...

Hi there!

I've been vaping for 4 weeks today and I'm happy to say that after 17 years of smoking I haven't had one cigarette and love vaping much more!

I have two iTaste vv and 3 different types of clearomizers. I first bought a Kangertech Protank3 mini and ten bought a few more. I then realized I hated them after buying a clearomizer from Vaporzone. I feel like I get way more flavor and its a harder pull (if that makes any sense) than the protank. Then I just bought an Aspire BDC and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!! I find that juices I thought I hated (while using a protank), I now love due to increased flavor and less air.

Question is, is there anything I can do to save my protanks? I have 3 and bought 20 coils so I'd hate to see them go to waste :( I guess I should be happy that I now like some of the juices that I thought I hated but I'd like to try and enjoy them in the protanks as well.

This is becoming an expensive hobby so if any of ou have any tips on how to stop buying stuff let me know that as well :/

I got started on the protank 2 mini and still enjoy it. Seems the 3 is already out of favor -flavor whatever. Dual coil overheating the mix I think the reviews said. Got a fist full of the cheap GS-H2 for testing and found them to be good for that purpose and not out of much if lost when traveling. Just bought a innokin vtr and coolfire on a great deal and the 30s tanks seem to be a good combo but a little large to shove in a breast pocket. Hope this stops for awhile. Next up, making juice.

If you find they have too much air, you can try swapping the base for an airflow valve (the same one that is on the aerotank mini). It's cheap enough. I just ordered two of them for my PT2 mini after I tried an aerotank. The PT2 were staying in the drawer because I found them WAY too airy - I like that harder pull you're talking about.

Ugh, well. If you find the answer to that... please tell me ! If you're anything like myself, it will eventually taper down after a while. You will probably also settle on a setup you like and stop wanting to find better all the time. If you're not like me then... good luck :)

I have glass/Pyrex and plastic tanks, but for some reason some flavors are much more richer and flavorful in plastic tanks and vice versa. Just experiment on which juices taste great on what tanks and just label them. That's what i do. Orange and menthol is in my iclear 30s, strawberry mist (menthol) is in my aspire et-s (glass tank) and so on. No need to throw away the plastic tanks :)
