Double Dutch + Caramel Candy would be my recommendations:)

Oh man ... That plain o'peanut butter I mixed up feels like it's falling pretty short now
Now I want to add some chocolate and caramel to it.

How am I ever going to be able to test each single flavor when you guys keep shov'in goodies like this in front of me ????

FW marshmallow would be my must have as a sweetener and blender, along with FW Vanilla Custard.

Those are the only two that stand out with me as far as FW flavors go.
My FW Vanilla Custard and a couple of other FW Flavors arrived.

I'm thinking

FW Vanilla Custard 8%
FW Caramel Candy 2%

would make a tasty vape. What else would go well?

I posted that FW Vanilla Custard and FA Vienna Cream is a craveable vape. I have already vaped thru 90ml's of it in just under two weeks. If you have Vienna cream,do not go over 1ml with it,try to go as far under 1ml as possible and keep flavor.

Vanilla Custard mixes well with fruit flavors ,for a fruit and cream vape.

Vanilla Custard(or Bavarian cream either work),chocolate, vanilla cupcake make a good Boston Cream Pie.

FW Candy Cane at 15% with Koolada added at 1 drop per 5ml is my replacement for Halo's Kringle's Curse. Ho-ho-ho! I've been vaping this all through the holidays.

FW's Pina Colada is the only flavor with coconut in it that doesn't taste musty to me. I mix it around 12% and add a little Koolada for the cool-feeling exhale.

FW's Tres Leches is a good one for mixing cake flavors. It's like a lightly-vanilla, lightly-creamy cake flavor. Yellow Cake makes me gag, but Tres Leches is nice...good for cupcake recipes, good to add to harsh mixes for a more mellow vape. As a standalone I'd mix it under 15%, but since I use it in recipes, I use less.

I have about 30 FW flavors, and those 3 have gotten the most use lately. Mojito is lime with hint-of-mint that I get in the mood for now and then. When I want caramel, I like FW's Salted Caramel or Caramel Candy best. FW's Double Dutch Choc with Candy Cane makes a great Oreo, but I've written that a few times before.

I'm 12 pages into this thread and figured I'd post before finishing the reading but it seems there are a lot of recommendations of 12.5% flavoring at 50/50 pg/vg.

I was wondering what brand nicotine, PG and VG do you guys use and what setups you are testing on.

I've got Vaping Zone nicotine at 48mg in PG base that I cut down to 6mg. After I run it through ejuice me up and double check my calculations I get to 50/50 pg/vg taking into account that my nic is PG based. One thing that I don't do is count the PG in the flavoring towards my final ratio.

That being said, I've been having some difficulty mixing some flavors and find that my throat hit is stronger than normal and a bit intense. I've done Guava at 15 and 20% and Strawberry/Banana at 12/4% respectively (the banana is kind of overwhelming the strawberry taste).

I vape on a rebuildable at 0.45 ohms and have vaped other flavors mixed at 10%, Flavor West but different PG/VG and nicotine brands.

What can I do to help improve flavor and reduce throat hit? I was thinking of getting some Koolada or sweetener.

I use eJuice Me Up, I'm wondering what I can to make my mixes better.

ejuice counts the flavorings as PG, and already figues it in during the calculation.
PG can be harsh to some people with tender throats.
I hope your not doing "lung" inhales.
Just draw it into your mouth, hold it there a few, and exhale through your nose.
That gives your throat a break, and the lungs don't absorb the nic anyway,
The nicotine is absorbed by the mucus linings in your mouth, throat, and sinuses.
Steam (vapor) molecules are to large for the lungs to use. ...(been proven)

Another suggestion is to add a drop of Vape Wizard or (TFA) Smooth to the recipe.
They both tone down (slightly mute).. and they take the "sharpness or bite" away, making it a much smoother vape
Neither one has a flavor of it's own, and are used as additives only.

Also, you can try a little EM. It will bond and smooth some flavors too.
Don't add a bunch or it acts as a sweetener.

If you have any of those, don't worry about making a new recipe to try it, just add some to the juice your using and set it aside a couple of days .. shake when you think about it.
Adding 1 drop per 3ml is a good start, and you don't have to tell the calculator about it !

Thanks for the advice Slots, I'll have to give it a try.

Any links about the lung inhale info? I switch between lung inhales and mouth inhales.

The thing that's driving me nuts about juices is that I work part time at a vape shop and they pre-mix their base with 100% PG 24mg Nic base with VG to get different PG/VG ratios to get a base that's 50/50 which doesn't take flavoring PG into account for the final mix. I'm doing the same thing but am noticing a lot more throat hit from my juice compared to the juice I've made at the shop.

We don't steep anything at the shop and I haven't steeped anything at my house either. Will steeping really make that much of a difference?

Also, at the shop we don't use any additives.

Where do you guys get your additives from? I'd prefer to get most if not all of them at one online location if I can. Which ones would you recommend to experiment with?

Another thing I was wondering, any idea how much flavoring gets sucked up into the syringe? I'm using 1.5" 14 gauge needles and was curious if that is throwing off my flavor percents.

Hey guys, I don't have a lot of FW flavors, most are pretty good. I do have a couple that defy my taster though. Prickly pear and rum just seem like terrible flavors. Anyone have any good advice for mixing either of those? Not looking for beginner advice, as I have tried them at several different percents, steep level, and mixed with other flavorings. I just can't seem to find something to like about them.

I have FA Vienna Cream. :)

Would you mind sharing the percentages for the FA Vienna Cream and FW Vanilla Custard.

I made 30ml bottles at a time as follows.
1ml-Vienna Cream(total flavor % was 15% so the rest was vanilla custard which was 4ml's).
10ml's-50/50 unflavored nic.wizard labs
15ml's-50/50 VG/PG.
Total 30ml's.
The entire recipe I posted with percents is a page or two back on this thread.
Edit: Forgot-6 drops of sucralose sweetener,2 drops per 10ml's.

I haven't tried a lot of flavor west flavors or ever bought from MBV. But I did get their cinnamon roll and cinnamon churro. I love them both mixed together at 15% Cinnamon Roll and 5% Cinnamon Churro with an 80/20 VG/PG blend. And it tastes just right on my RDA. Thick vapor and just the right amount of sweetness and cinnamon. It's good! I am looking forward to trying more of their flavors
