First I want to say that Flavor West is weak but in a good way-- at least for me. There is no perfumey, grassy or cigarish notes as noted in some other lines tobacco's. That being said, here is is my impression of some of their tobaccos used at up to 20 percent with a small sweet note added by me and on occasion a nutty note added by me.

Cherry Balsam tobacco- Heavy on maraschino cherry lighter on the tobacco note. Had to add Vape Wizard and Bitter Wizard to smooth it out then added sweetener. Its ok but I prefer a more authentic cherry note.

Honey Wood Tobacco-The one and only flavor by Flavor West so far that had me run out of the room screaming by its smell alone. Imagine walking into a room with 1000 honeysuckles- if this is your thing you will love it. To me it smelled just awful- so floral I was gagging.

Chocolate Tobacco- The chocolate part fails for me as it tastes like burnt to bitter dark chocolate very waxy/chemically tasting and takes over any tobacco note. The smell is pleasant enough and with the addition of other elements including The Vape Wizard and some caramel it still worked for me.

Vanilla Tobacco- This is the only FW for me that had a decent tobacco/vanilla ratio-- very good as a base and needed the least tweaking.

I found this one

Honey Tobacco by JD1

Flavor West Honey Wood Tobacco 7 drops

Flavor Apprentice Tobacco Blend 10 drops

Flavor Art VapeWizard 3 drops

base (50/50 @ 12mg in my case) 5 ml

Nice and light, hint of sweetness - not over sweet at all, good grassy or hay after taste.

Per JD1 "This mix is for a flavor only, and should be mixed down a lot more before vaping."

LOL at the cat pee. I'm trying some this morning at 2% with 2% Cotton Candy. Interesting flavor. Not my favorite, but I like it.

I don't know if you noticed it nans but the recipe at the very bottom says "this recipe should be used to make the honeywood a workable flavoring base and should be diluted further." I'm guessing this is one of those flavors that is so strong in smell its best to dilute the flavoring first to even find it acceptable. I agree on the cat pee though. Really it was the only one so far that I deplored by them. High desertecigs has some further products in their tobacco line which I may try. I have heard some people like the Tidewater and the Ankara which I have not tried yet.

My son, who just started vaping a few weeks, ago hasn't found an e-liquid he liked but Havana. He got the FW Havana, Honey Wood Tobacco, and Virginia Fire Cured. He brought them to me because they were "nasty". Well I mixed the Honey Wood Tob and it wasn't bad. The Virginia Fire Cured and the Havana were just like perfume and chemicals. The VFC is better, but not the Havana. Has anyone been happy with the Havana and if so, would you please share your recipe.

Az, How much of your VFC mix do you use in your recipe?

Firstly, I am a complete noob....

My first try @ a simple juice was last night with the FW USA Blend. The concentrate tastes very sharp and chemical-ish. Possibly because of the alcohol in it, or because it is just crappy quality.

I do not know how much I should really rely on steeping to aid in the possible enjoyment / use of this flavor if it is this bad straight out of the bottle.
