Thanks for the info just made the order. On the site they say to use 15 - 40% flavor, really? Do you use that much? I guess I'm used to FA and starting at about 5%

Yeah I don't know why the site says that---its not accurate most need 5-15% total.

In chat with MBV one CSR said their basic flavor level is about 10% and each shot adds about 2%
The rep that I spoke with said that's an average and some shots can be much more.

I've been mixing MBV & FW flavors for a couple of weeks and that's not much time but I'll share what I've found.

I got almost everything from MBV @ +1 flavor shot and I like it strong but not overwhelming.
My MBV juices have all been @ 18mg 80/20
My mix base is 20.5mg 67/33 aiming for ~18mg 70/30 with flavor added.

+1 on Red Hot Cinnamon was overwhelming from MBV even though I love Ginger's Fireball.
FACE MEAT has a recipe for Atomic Fireball that uses 1 drop/1 ml of EM.
That seems to be the difference although I haven't tested it yet.

I mixed about 10 flavors from MBV/FW @ 12.5% - it seems to be a good starting point.
Yellow Cake & Mango seem to be spot on @ 12.5%. I'll try 12% but melikes @ 12.5
Banana is great @ 11%
I'm not sure about Pie Crust, Blackberry or Mocha.
Mocha seems slightly strong at 12.5%
Strawberry is perfect @ 13.5% compared to +2 from MBV

I spent a couple of hours with Butterscotch today to try to find my level.
12.5% seems ever so slightly weak, 15% is horrible, 11.5% is tasty but way weak for me.
My stepson says my Strawberry is spot on and thinks Butterscotch could be a product @ 11.5%
He doen't like Butterscotch in general and says MBV Butterscotch +1 is way too strong but he could do the 11.5%
He also thinks the Mocha is too much flavor @ 12.5% - he loves MBV Mocha @ +1 for reference

I power steeped them all in the UC and most naturally steeped for a week and more before I got the UC.

I have 9 FW flavors and about 20 from MBV. They seem to be the same strength.
I'll post further MBV/FW experiments to this thread and welcome any input.

Please include your percentages, pg/vg ratio & nic strength so we all can compare our results.
Flavors will behave completely different in high vg and high/low nic levels so please include your specs.

Thanks

I buy just about all my flavors from FW. They have some of the most spot-on flavors I have ever used. I didn't always think this way, however. -...I remember my first order from them. I bought 4oz of Butterscotch and 4oz of Caramel Candy. I heard that they were a bit weak, so I started both of those flavors at 15% with 50/50 VG/PG. I put them in a slightly warm bath for 15min before letting the bottles steep overnight without caps or drop-tops. The next day, I tested them to see how they were coming along. I tried the Butterscotch first. It tasted weak and underwhelming. (Eventually, I found that 25% makes for a great Butterscotch Candy taste) I then tried the Caramel Candy at 15%. It was overpowering and nasty. Well, I experimented and finally came to find that 11% gave a great candy taste.
--THE THING ABOUT FW IS THAT THE STRENGTH OF THEIR FLAVORS VARY GREATLY FROM ONE TO ANOTHER. MOST OTHER COMPANIES FLAVORS ARE MUCH CLOSER IN STRENGTH WHEN IT COMES TO MIXING e-liquid.
That being said, I've tried 39 of their flavors and they have all been good to great. The wild differences in strengths make them hard to combine. You'll need some time to get the percentages right. After all, these are not flavors made specifically for e-liquid.
-One last thing about sweeteners. If you use sucralose as your sweetener, I've found that even one drop of the blue-cap extra-strength EZ-SWEETZ is too much for most FW e-liquid mixtures under 50ml. Use the regular strength, TFA, or Stevia.
Good Luck
