Im trying to make a diy juice similar to that of Freedomsmokeusa's RY4. Following a FSUSA Ry4 recipe that denback posted, I need Flavorart Chocolate, Caramel, and Vanilla Classic.

Im a little short on cash right now, so I'd prefer to use some flavors that I currently have from The Flavor Apprentice, which are double chocolate, bittersweet chocolate, french vanilla, vanilla custard, caramel candy and caramel original. I'd appreciate input from anyone that has tried at least one of these flavors from both companies. I'll buy them if they aren't similar, but it'd really be great if at least one was almost identical :)

Chocolate = Capellas . There are not many good choco's on the market but Capellas owns chocolates .They are all spot on like a candy bar . TPA Double choco is the only other one thats decent . Every other choco made besides those SUCK BIG TIME lol .

Remember that HC caramel is not really a caramel . It is the Base flavor in most RY4's which is a slight toasted caramel with lots of real cotton candy taste .Im pretty sure its the main ingredient in Dekang RY4 and the sole ingredient in GHO RY4 and Kalamazoo MadHatter .

Okay, I think I've got it all figured out now. Im going with FA Dark Vapure, FA Vanilla Classic, and PA Bittersweet Chocolate Extra. I think a more coco-like chocolate would be better since Im going for a "deeper" flavor. If the HC Caramel is going to make my RY4 that much better, I'll definitely get it since it's my favorite flavor. It would have been nice to just use the caramel I have, but for six or seven dollars, Im not cutting corners.

WHat iv noticed with cocoa type dark chocolates is they all are very chemical/alcoholish .I didnt think that particular choco was good but i guess taste is subjective . Fa cocoa although still not great may be a better option then that PA one . I did a review on lot of caramels in the flavor review area . Each one is not even close to the same so it all depends on which you want .If you want caramel go with a caramel ,if you want RY4 go with HC . FOr the HC though when i first used it i took a marker and crossed off the word caramel and wrote RY4 on it .I didnt think it was right to think of it as a caramel . If anything its a super potent EM . Vanilla classic i havent tried but heard its pretty good .

I appreciate all of your help. The Bittersweet Chocolate smells very chemically, but to me it just tastes like bitter chocolate. I definitely want some caramel flavor in my RY4, like the Kraft cube type, but also some of that burnt caramel taste alongside it. Maybe a mix of the HC and PA caramels would be best? Im just having a hard time trying to picture what that HC stuff tastes like. I guess the only way to find out is to try it.

The HC taste like RY4 or like strong EM .Think toasty real cotton candy. Thats the best way i can really decribe it .At least 60% of all the RY4s from vendors have this flavor . Im not sure what Kraft cube tastes like so cant help ya there but i did explain how different caramels vary in taste in the review .Sounds like you would want a real caramel .

Okay, I think I understand now. To be honest, I've only tried RY4 from one vendor, I started DIY'ing three weeks after I started vaping and never looked back. The RY4 from FSUSA had a definite real caramel taste, and thats the one im trying to replicate. So I'll try the PA Caramel first, and if it doesn't work I'll try the HC Caramel. Again, thanks for all the pointers :)
