Hi Sthur. I am going through an allergic reaction/sensitivity right now. It is with cinnamon and custards. I started vaping in the beginning of July. From the start the cinnamon was irritating/way strong throat hit. So I have been avoiding it in my juices and have been vaping happily away, all kinds of flavors and pg/vg mixes with no problem. I vape mostly tobaccos, and sweet tobaccos, a little bit of coffees, teas and some bakery types at 24mg. No menthols, mints or ices. I also inhale.
End of September I put 3 drops of a vanilla custard in my dripping atty and it burnt like mad and my mouth, lips and throat started swelling up. I took a couple of benedryll and stopped vaping immediately. I am still nursing it through the healing process slowly reintroducing lower nic level juices.
I vaped 100% vg for several days. Now I am dripping 2 drops of vg and 2 drops of a 12mg juice on my atty. I have been able to tolerate some pg and the nic. No cinnamon, custards, and some of the tobaccos. I suspect some other spices too.
You need to be careful. It does not matter if you been vaping 1 week or 6 months, you can develop an allergy or sensitivity to something. I am going to give you a link to a lady that does a blog regarding pg sensitivity. Do some searches on here regarding flavorings and cinnamon. That will lead you to other things to look for.

Go over the the Health Forum and do some reading. Go over to DIY Forum and do some reading. This tends to be a tedious process of elimination. Go slow and take your time so you can figure it out. Swelling is very bad and you should talk to your doctor.
This can be annoying. You may have to change your juices. Do some reading and research and see where you are. If in doubt, go to your doctor.
I would also check to make sure that your clearos and coils and wicks are clean. You can try reducing the pg level on your juices. You can reduce the nicotine amount. You can also vape less. Lots of trial and error. You will figure it out over time. Good luck and go do that research.
Been vaping for 4 months and trying to figure out if strong flavors or just questionable juices are making throat worse. I do inhail which is probable worse....I been trying to not inhail and just hold and exhaling through nose. Seems worse with higher flavor liquids. Bought some Alice or diacytle free and same.
Think 100% worth try or no flavor or 100% vg to narrow problem? Sorry for typos....
