"Flavoring" pre-filled Carts?

Hi all

Another Vapor Virgin here - ordered a DSE901 from PureSmoker - on the advise of the many E-Cig forum's I've been lurking around. Hopefully it will come in the mail today!

Also ordered juice from Totally Wicked - and I can't wait to get started in kicking the analogs out of my life!!!

The only pre-loaded carts I've got coming are the ones that come with the starter kit - but, I've never really liked the original tobacco flavor (smoke Menthol - only - for the past 25 years) which was my only option on ordering the starter kit. Can I "flavor" these factory filled carts with something else? Or is it better to just wash the stuff out and start fresh?

And, I just gotta say, here - this is a great community! Hat's off!

Good for you , hope you enjoy it. You can top off with juices, it will mix a bit but you should ( in some cases ) still taste YOUR choice. FYI, I was a regular tobacco smoker, not menthol, and I gotta say the menthol from puresmoker is AWESOME! And I hated menthols. To me this one is not as biting as a menthol cig. Hopefully you will like it as well. I have ordered a few things from puresmoker and no probs at all. Some of the flavors are subjective of course but that is to be expected. VAPE ON!!!

When I switch flavors I just pull the stuffing out of the cartridge and squeeze it a couple time under running water and then squeeze it dry with a paper towel. Then I use tweezers to dunk it in the new flavor of liquid I want and saturate it and stick it back in the cartridge tip.

houdini, just curious, is that method messy? or do the saturated carts not really "drip" excess?

I just shake them a bit over the bottle holding it with tweezers and stuff it back in the tip. Not messy at all.

Got my stuff tonight - but PureSmoker doesn't charge up the batteries before shipping anymore So now I have to wait until morning to try..

I've smoked Kools for 36 years & absolutely love the Menthol from Puresmoke. Tastes even better than the Kools.

It's much better to wash the other stuff out and fill with new stuff. I hear a lot of people also clean out their atomizers. If you search on YouTube there are hundreds of videos on how to do that stuff.

Gonna try that tonight - I have to wash out the cart I had in my 901 this morning - I found out the hard way what it's like to overfill a cart <numb lips!> and in the car, too.

I had an inspiration on carrying my 901 - I have a jewelry box for a bracelet - 2 rubber straps on either side hold the bracelet in place can also hold an extra battery, a cart or 2, and keeps everything safe from being knocked around in my pocket.

Also, I have a TON of little plastic baggies from jewerly-making purchases, these are the ideal size for holding a cart.

I'm going to try to put something together (a bit better and more organized) to hold my supplies - I'll tell all when (IF???) it works out.

I have 20 vanilla carts and 20 coffee carts still ready to use. Today, I received my strawberry ejuice.

Well, the strawberry mixes quite nicely with the vanilla, but not so great (as might be expected) with the coffee.

Have only been at this ecig thing for 2 months, but gotta say it is a fun (if expensive) learning curve. Best advice I can give on this subject is -- think of food and what goes with what?

Eg--coffee and choclate///maybe even chocolate and menthol?? I`m thinking of those choc/mint candies-hmmm??

In my personal case, one thing for sure// best day yet vaping since my flavor arrived this morning. Like some others on this forum, made the first mistake of ordering Virginia tobacco juice because I thought that original tobacco flavor would be most appealing.. WOW.. was I wrong!!

Those flavors make the transition so much smoother.. at least imho.

There's another thread in this forum for recipies, too, that I've been bouncing through...I'm going to work thorugh the pre-made flavors first before I start playing with the flavors, I think.....although I did put some vanilla in with my cherry carts and so far, so good.

This vaping is FANTASTIC <24 hrs in> and only 5 analogs today (cut down by half!!!!)
