I'd be interested in stevia though I don't add extra sweetener to my flavors and no diabetes. I just drink way too much diet pepsi and I'm not ready to attack *that* habit as of yet, so I'd be into minimizing the amount of sucralose I ingest, though to be fair, compared to drinking diet pepsi that amount HAS to be minuscule... I doubt it's going to make a difference to my overall health.

Wouldn't stevia add bitterness as well? I kind of understood it to be difficult to flavor with (at least as far as baking, I know we're talking different stuff!) due to underlying bitter aftertaste, meaning some other sweetener needs to be used, also? That said, if you are on a Ketogenic diet it might be worth a shot.... I prefer less sweetened flavors anyway, so don't usually add sweetener at all but I am interested in stevia for vaping, a bit.

Good luck with it I hope you report back if you do try it?

NOW Foods' Better Stevia in Glycerite is what I mix with, and it is super-concentrated. It's an alcohol-free version of their stevia extract, and while the price has shot up $7 in a month, it's definitely worthwhile for DIY.

The aftertaste only really shows up if you take your coil close to a dry hit, and to me begins to taste like anise a bit but doesn't fully cross over into tasting exactly like it. I don't normally taste it during vaping, nor do the people I mix for. The exception is when I'm not paying attention and have vaped the contents of my tank without realizing it.

Used at 0.5-1.5%, it doesn't really seem to create coil gunk at the same alarming rate that other sweeteners do. In fact, it gunks slower than most custard flavorings solo tend to, even at 2.5% (super-sweet) in a lemonade that came out tasting like a popular canned brand.

It creates a strong, lingering sweetness when you push the percentages up past 1%, and works really well to make citrus or other fruit mixes come together. I don't sweeten my custard or vanilla blends as much, but it definitely has an effect there when used at 0.5%.

If you find it too sweet at 0.5%, you might want to dilute it 1:5 or 1:10 in some pg or vg for easier measuring; quite a bit comes out in each drop from the big bottle, so it works ok for doing large bottles.

All in all, I don't see myself needing to order another sweetener any time soon. Even if I don't use it in every juice, I like it for how well it doesn't stand out besides adding sweetness.

thanks but actually i thought that all flavorings are made with sweetener so i was looking for a flavoring concentrate itself with or without stevia cause i could always add stevia... basically i just want to injest as little sweeteners which induce insulin as possible.. but it really makes the impression by everyones replys here that theres not much of a difference.. but i will definitely look around for those unsweetened flavoring concentrates like someone explained here how to do that before by asking the manufacturer and then at most add the stevia additive... either way wouldnt give up vaping for the world:)
