99.9% of the time i vape unflavored. Around $60 for 1000ml of it at least, I can't complain. It doesn't destroy coils like flavors do. It doesn't make me sick. For example, I have a froot loops juice right now. My stomach is curling a bit just from the sweetness of it. Unflavored is what helped my dad quit smoking.

I've been vaping unflavored nearly exclusively for about 2 weeks now. I may go back to using a bit of flavoring, or maybe not. I am pretty happy with it right now. Unflavored actually has just a faint hint of tobacco and sweetness from the VG.

Definitely look into mixing it yourself or at least buying in bulk,

As far as flavored liquid destroying coils goes (as mentioned above), I think its important to note that its in large part due to the dark color of a large majority of flavored liquids - not necessarily the flavoring itself. In fact, I can say with 100% certainty that super-dark liquids WILL absolutely diminish your coil lifespan tremendously, and will coat a nice layer of black gunk on the inside of your coil. I used to take apart Atlantis coils and re-wrap or re-build them, and you wouldn't believe the amount of black gunk that would come from the inside of them after using really dark liquids. It clogs things up too, and god forbid you inhale a nice GOB of the stuff. But anyhow, WITH THAT SAID, I've never had any issues with my coils when using flavored liquid, as long as I use lighter colored liquids. Obviously the more clear/light colored the better, and the longer your coil will last. But the bottom line is, its at least mainly due to the dark color of most flavored liquids - not the fact that they have flavor in them.

Is there a major reason so many of you use unflavored juices? (Aside from the concerns of what is going in for the flavoring of course) I've never really had a problem with flavored juices, I quite enjoy the different flavors I get...

I began reading about people vaping unflavoured about a year ago and like many decided to give it a try, I enjoy the flavor it's sweet but not overpowering like some I have tried. I also know exactly what I am vaping, with flavoured juices one doesn't know what all the ingredients are. Cost as well, it's cheaper to Diy without flavouring and much easier to mix yourself.

I could never find and All-day-vape flavor when I was using flavors (fruits, bakery, citrus). I had to switch off several times in a day, and even when I initially loved one, got usually tired of it before finishing the second bottle. I've always shied away from custards due to the DA/AP concerns.

Finding I could vape a simple light menthol all day was a relief from the flavor merry-go-round. I'd been dropping the percentage of flavor used gradually. Then the opportunity to taste test 4 different nic brands came up and I mixed them up unflavored for comparison purposes. After a week of testing unflavored, I came to appreciate the subtlety of the unflavored. Tasty, simple, cheap, no-coil-gunking, what's not to like?

I vape unflavored probably 75% of the day when home, significant other is allergic to just about all fragrances so it is a happy median. When I need something flavored I step outside to drip, or when I'm out and about I carry my mod with unflavored as a back up, and another mod with flavored liquids. Generally get my unflavored from Mt.Baker in a 50/50 to 30pg/70vg mix, their vg base is a bit sweet, thinking palm extracted vg so compliments the peppery tone of the nic. If it came down to bans on flavorings, not that hard to find the ingredients to make unflavored to what you want.

I plan on buying some unflavored pg Nic base and vg Nic base so I can try different ratios I mix. Probably around 16 to 18 mg Nic. I'm a "tootle puffer" 8 to 10 W on GS-Tank or GS Air or nautilus mini riding on istick 30W. I've heard some brands are "peppery" and want to avoid those, any recommended suppliers for smooth high Nic based unflavored pg and vg?
