Flavors good for inhaling?

I came across Perfume Apprentice through this site and they had a lot of different flavors.

I then came across, a sticky that said that just because a liquid is FDA approved for human consumption, that it may not be OK for inhaling.

How do you know if it is?

Has anyone used this site before and know that the liquids they have are ok for inhaling?

It's all I use, they are fine. A lot of people have used them, like 1000's of vapers. They are telling the truth just like everyother site should. There has been NO FDA study on the vaping of flavors. Just covering their .....

I believe that means that ALL flavors have been FDA tested as food additives for digestion, but none of them have been tested for inhaling into the lungs. In other words, nothing has been proven safe, and like all vaping flavoring, you have to make the choice if you think the risk of possible damage from inhaling flavoring is less dangerous than smoking.

It covers their .... because they honestly can't say that their product has been PROVEN safe for inhaling; their customers just happen to think it's probably safer than cigarette smoke.

Flavor Art is in the middle of research designed to answer that very question. Interim results appear to be favorable; however, an authoratative answer to your question isn't available at the moment because the research hasn't been completed.

Consider it a matter of potentially lower risk than analogs.

I'll add that I ran across a list of addititives, recently, released by big tobacco. This list detailed numerous substances added to tobacco, and I saw quite a few flavoring agents set-forth in that list; so, vaping isn't setting a precedent, in this regard.

If you look closely at the flavor list at PA you will see that Linda lists in the description of some that they are not safe for inhalation. There are only a few but are the ones that contain diacetyl ( custard notes)

Also there has been much controversy as to whether or not cinnamon is safe for inhalation.

To make it a little more interesting (or confusing), there are some over on the Perfumer's Apprentice side that can also be used as flavorin, but I think you'd actually have to dilute those particular ones before use in juice.

I don't have it on this machine, but I remember that it was an easy Google. I think that it was in my first 40 or 50 hits, and it was a list of something like 5-or-6-hundred additives.
