Flavors or notes vary from adding or reducing wraps.

So i have found many threads speaking of ohms and wattages but none speak of how they achieved the resistance.
In my experience, i have found lets say 12 wraps to give me beautiful flavor but when i tried with 11 wraps it just went flat. The perfect amount of wraps i feel also change from flavor to flavor.
I would like to know if your experiences in flavor or notes change when the wraps are varied.

My point is that you may be wrapping 28G 10 wraps Alienwire to get 1.5ohms but to achieve 1.5 ohm with 28G Vapowire it may be 8/9 wraps only. The reduction in wraps changes the flavor. I guess what i am trying to say is that the resistance alone is not enough to hit the sweet spot. The change in number of wraps to achieve the resistance you want changes the sweet spot.
Put coil diameter and wick as fix variable. What are your views on this?

Well obviously the too manufacturers are NOT using the same GRADE wire, same gauge different ohm rate per inch. One of the builds is running cooler/warmer than the other. Wattage and OHM while important are meaningless unless you also consider the resistance of the wire itself. 15 watts @ 1 ohm can be anything from a cold vape to bazing hot, it just depends on the resistance of the wire.

Also what you are noticing is due to changes in SURFACE AREA. the larger the surface area of the coil it will be vaproizing more juice with each hit giving more flavor. there are some juices that I use that I purposely have to lessen the surface area as the flavors are just to strong otherwise. Just one more example of the mad science behind finding the perfect vape for YOU.

What I've observed is more surface area touching more juice equals more potential flavor (as long as power isn't excessive for the build). Less surface area, concentrated heat produces more vapor.

So a spaced coil with many wraps on a very wet wick produces good flavor. A tight contact coil on a "moderately" wet wick makes a cloud.
