I am about to make my 2nd batch of juices, and learning a lot as I go, but this has me stumped.

I bought flavors in several brands, and incorrectly assumed they had no PG or VG, so I didn't allow for those in my calculator. Now I'm realizing this could be throwing my PG/VG blend off.

So on my 2nd attempt, I'd like to be more precise, so I started looking for whether the flavors are PG, VG or what. If there's already a thread, post, or article that spells this out for me, that would be awesome!

I went back and checked all the flavors I bought, and cannot find any blanket statements about brand, so I had to check each flavor. All of the Capella, TFA, Flavor West, and LorAnn's that I bought were PG based. Are they ALL PG based, or will I need to continue checking each flavor?

Nude Nicotine - all flavors are VG

Thanks for any help or guidance you can offer!

Thank you Mattie -- I am seeing that PG is much more common, but I am learning to not make any kind of assumptions. :p

Are some flavors something other than PG or VG based? I have read to avoid oils (seems a lot of LorAnns are oils, but these probably aren't sold thru vape supply sites like Wizard Labs?)

Thanks for your patience with the noob!

Seems like I have read that some flavorings have alcohol (PGA) in them. Yes, you want to avoid those oil base flavorings. I don't know of any others, other than LorAnns but that's not to say that they aren't out there. I pretty much stay with TFA (The Flavor Apprentice) Flavorings. I appreciate the fact that they give lots of information on what is in their flavorings.

90% of flavoring out there are PG based. The other 10% would be alcohol based super concentrates. Very very few are VG and the only place I've seen to get the VG based flavors is at TFA in the VG only section of there web site. So if you are unsure I think it would be OK for you to assume it's PG based.
