Hey guys,

Do all PG and VG brands taste the same, produce the same amount of vapor, or otherwise don't interfere with the final quality of DYI juice?

I have a sneaking suspicion that no. I've bought my PG at a reputable online store (forgot the name) and the PG at my local pharmacy. I've made DYI juice using 6 different flavors from TPA and something from Desert Vapes. Nothing tastes good at all. I suspect it must be because of my PG or VG.

Also, different already-made juice brands have different consistencies, and often juices within a brand taste very similar. Nude Nicotine juices, for instance, have an underline flavor common to all their juices. Same to Mr Good Vapor, Hurricane Vapor, Deejstuff...

Have you noticed that too? If the above is true, what PG/VG brands are the best, consistently making great tasting juice?

From what I understand yes there could be differences, also is it USP. VG for example from what I have researched can be made from things like coconut oils, soy bean, etc... even suspect corn in some since the one VG juice (pre-made E-Liquid) I got causes a slight irritation when vaped around someone with a corn allergy in my house, they also are allergic to peanuts, chocolate, etc... a bunch of things. Nothing seemed to bother them until I vaped the one flavor (Now an outdoors vape so I don't cause them any allergic reactions).

So with that being said I cannot tell you for sure but at least VG could be different IMO... PG idk I got some shipping atm and gonna see about getting it locally next at a place I was told to go to at local shoppers drug mart which deals in more compounding chemicals.

Hope that helped some,

I know some people use that VG available at pharmacies (Humco I believe it is) but I did not care for it---it had an underlying taste that I did not like. As for what you are describing about variance in juices, each of those companies is not using the same nicotine source. You have to like the nic base used to ever like the finished product. This is true whether you DIY your juice or buy premade.
