Has anyone ordered flavors directly from the Italian factory and also from U.S. resellers? The reason I ask is because I have been living in Italy for a while and have made several orders directly from FA and have really loved their flavors. I will be moving back to the states soon and have found plenty of U.S. resellers (ecigexpress.com looks like they have the best prices) but I am curious if the flavors they are selling are the absolute real deal. Since I'll be in the states, I'd prefer to order locally so the shipping cost will be lower and delivery will be faster. However, if there's any difference at all with the products the U.S. resellers are offering, I'll stock up before I head back stateside. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Dont bother trying to order direct from FA in Italy.
They have a delivery time of about 2/3 weeks here in Italy, go figure sending stuff to the USA.

As I said in my original post, I am living in Italy right now and have placed several orders directly from Flavour Art. The delivery time has been under 2 weeks every time. However, if the U.S. flavors really are the same, I will happily order from U.S. resellers once I am back in the states.

You're lucky. my last order was delivered after 23 days :(
I suppose there should not be any difference if we are talking about concentrated flavors.
Could be different for ready to vape e-liquid according how is the agreement with the distributor
ready2vape could be made in Italy, and sent to the US with higher shipping cost, or the reseller could buy the concentrated prepare and bottle them in the US at lower costs.
Also I find the nic sold in the us has a different taste that the one sold here in Italy (I tried CC and boxelder) and this could "modify" the overall flavor.
FA is a rather big company, so i'm quite sure they have some strict control over their resellers anyway.

Yes, I've purchased FA flavorings from both Italy and from US resellers.

I've had two bottles that were mislabeled from US resellers and one bottle that was a backorder when the shipment came and there has not been a bottle sent out to replace it going on two years now. Two resellers that have never made anything close to those mistakes are ecigexpress and Pure Vapes.

Obviously I just don't do business with vendors who don't supply me with what I order in a timely manner. I do business with Pure Vapes and Ecigexpress for my FA flavorings. (Unless I want a really large bottle, 1/4 liter or more, then I go to Italy. Yes, I know, I mix quite a bit...)

When you order from Italy how long does it take from the time you order until they ship it? I am in Thailand so ordering from U.S. resellers is difficult, so I figured I might as well go direct.

According to our italian e-cig forum, timeline for FA is 15 to 20 days to prepare orders, plus shipping time.

Wow, that us really slow. I guess two days since I ordered is just the tip of my waiting iceberg. I usually get things from the U.K. or Ireland within a week of shipment here, but I have never ordered from an Italian vendor. I will post my results here after my order ships and I receive it. Thanks for responding to my question.

It can take a month. For whatever reason there never seems to be stock of what I order so the time to fill is about 2 weeks and then it always seems to hang in customs for nearly a week. (The rest is transit time.)

Thanks for the feedback, Hoosier. I was already pretty sure that I would be ordering from ecigexpress when I am back in the states, and after reading your comment, I am definitely going to! Oh and a side question for you: do you store your FA flavors in the fridge, or just a cool dark place?

I seem to remember reading on their site that all products are made to order, so that may explain the long prep time. Of course, I'm sure they also have a heavy order load to keep up with. On top of it all, they are an Italian company, and in my experience over the several years I have lived here, things tend to get done a bit more slowly than in the states... ;)

I'll use ecigexpress if Pure Vapes is out of the flavoring I need at the time. I know the guy at P-V and he has always been helpful to me.

Very cool. I just checked out PureVapes for the first time and as far as 30 ml bottles go, it looks like they have fewer flavors, but better prices. I'll order from them too!

Just to let people know how my ordering process went with Flavour Art Italy. I ordered on April 29th. I was notified that it was being processed on May 3rd and it was shipped on May 4th. Now, I wait to see how long it will take me to receive it in Thailand.

That's a pretty quick processing time for FA! Now it's in the hands of international shipping, so hopefully that'll go quickly...

Okay, my order from Flavour Arts Italy arrived today in Thailand. So from the day I ordered until it was received the entire process took 15 days. Ten days transit time from Italy to me in Thailand after they said it was mailed. Based on what others have said I think I got lucky and my order came much quicker than expected.

Also, I am happy to say that they sent me more of everything than I ordered. I ordered 10ml of most flavors and they came in 12ml bottles. Also two flavors were upsized free to 20ml (I paid for 10ml). And I ordered 10ml of Cinnamon Ceylon and they sent me 1 12ml bottle and 2 7ml bottles. Another flavor they sent me 2 7ml bottles in place of 1 10ml bottle. So that was a pleasant surprise. The only negative is that the writing on the label of the Zen Garden rubbed off so I had to open the bottle and smell it to determine what flavor it is. Overall a pleasant experience. I will order direct from them again.

The 15-20 days is an advisory as it can take that long. The main reason is that like with many ecig suppliers in the early days, demand often outstrips supply. It's easy to say 'get more staff, machines' etc but it's not quite that simple. Flavourart Italy moved into much bigger premises last year and increased capacity, a major capital investment considering the type of new production equipment that was installed. Massimiliano, the owner, has been astounded by the demand and has brought in extra staff working extra shifts. The company is now going through another (earlier than expected) expansion to try and stay ahead of the game. Max has also been busy developing the Clearstream Protocol and testing all of the flavours so that they could issue MSDSs (Material Safety Data Sheets). In March of this year the production of 10ml bottles stood at 400k+ per month and it is expected to reach 1 million by summer. That type of rapid growth is obviously good for business, but I know from experience that it can be very difficult to manage and has to be done in a carefully controlled manner. At least they do let people know in advance that there could be a delay.
Many customers will have their orders filled quite promptly, others might have to wait, but they are working flat out on it I know that much.

Best wishes

John

I have ordered Apple Pie flavouring straight from Italy and just received the same flavour I ordered from ecigexpress and they are not even the same colour. The one from Italy is the light colour of apple juice and the one I just received is brown

I haven't tried it yet but I wonder why they are not the same colour at all if they are the ones imported from Italy.
