OK so ATM I am using an 8.4V mech mod and a dripper running a single micro coil at 1.9 ohms (aim for about 2 ohms) and find that this works pretty well. Using cotton again although might go back to mesh as for me it's a little cleaner.
So any suggestions on improving flavour?
I have a 4.2V mech and a Vamo so can try a variety of builds. In general I struggle to get great flavour sub-ohming, but that might just be because of using single coils with small coverage.
Oh have 0.15-0.30 kanthal which is roughly AWG 28-34 and cotton, mesh, ss rope and silica available. Looking for ideas on a flavour set up and don't really care about stupid clouds.

I can't speak for everyone but I am finding the best flavor spot for me is between 1 and 1.3 ohms at 12-14 watts. Your limited range of wattage may be holding you back a bit but you could try the Rose V2 tank atty, the flavor on that is pretty amazing and I have heard that across the board of ohm readings. It's a bugger to build the first time but then it's fairly easy. I am using Koh Gen Do cotton in mine. Silica would be good too if you burn it hard core before using. I lit mine up red hot just like the wire and it seems to be getting rid of most of the nasty silica taste in my Sat22.

I own an 'Aris' which I'm told is great for Flavor Chasing, only problem is a tiny build space.

I'd suggest watching some of Rip Tripper's videos, I don't know what builds go for flavor off the top of my head but he reviews the builds in each video.

The problem with his videos is that every coil is the best ever, yes he does say some are better for flavour and some for clouds but still how can you gauge how good a coil is from someone who tells you they are all the best ever?
