Hello, hello all!

Well, I finally got some interesting Flavourart flavorings in, namely: Cured Ham, Black pepper, Bread Crust, and Violet.

I couldn't help myself, and had to go for the Cured ham first.

I should have known something was awry when I took the top off, and sniffed. There was some subtle hints of nice cured ham among the overwhelming smell of spoiled ham.

Oh well, the show must go on, right?

So, I mix up a small 1.5ml batch, 50/50 PG/VG, 24mg and added cured ham to 3% concentration.

Now the whole kitchen is starting to smell like ham thats gone off, and I'm getting nervous.

Not wanting to ruin a new atty, I dripped onto a freshly cleaned blucig atty threaded onto a standard 510 battery

I take a puff.

HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF PEARL AND EVERYTHING THATS GOOD AND PURE IN THIS WORD; WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!

...I think my tastebuds individually threw up, which was good, 'cause that almost masked the flavor of whatever the vile cloud of vapor issuing from my 510 was supposed to be...

Swear to god, I think I heard my future children cry.

I dont know what kind of curing the ham in this flavor underwent, but as best as I can tell, the ingredient list must have included outhouse fluid, and Diesel fuel.

I half considered brushing my mouth out with the toilet brush just to get rid of the flavor.

So Cured ham: Great in sandwiches, or wrapped around a melon-ball, but as a vape, I think I'd rather staple my tongue to a tree before submitting it to that unfortunate concoction ever again. :(

*shudder*

Oof

My whole compartment box that holds my flavorings now smells like this ham stuff.

On one hand, I wonder if Im so put-off because the undiluted flavoring is just so strong as to be disgusting, but on the other hand, maybe "Cured Ham" is just destined to be one of those epic failures as far as a vaping liquid flavoring.

To give it a solid "college try" I might consider trying to use it to flavor some tofu, or something to see if I can at least get the *taste* of cured ham from it, But frankly, Im none too hopeful.

In all seriousness, it smells like maybe a ham, or beef dish thats been sitting in the fridge for over a month.

These are just my opinions tho.. YMMV

Hmm, I wonder if bacon would be any better. lol

In my opinion, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

It's gagalicious!

I did hear that bacon was a good thing to add to tobacco to enhance flavor, but after having to throw an atty away, I'm not sure I want to experiment with that one. I even used everclear to try and clean the atty, it may have been psychosomatic, but I could still taste it. So I figured i will never be able to associate that specific atty with anything but soured pork, so it was best to just get rid of it, lol.

And, Jason (mendnwngs), you are a brave soul. Thank you for your guinea pig work ;)

Every time this subject comes up I revisit this thread for a giggle. It is an oldie but a goodie. You could call it this:

but it is worth the necromancy to share the giggles...
