It was bad enough that they banned cigs at the beach. It is outside open air! They already have littering laws if they are worried about the buts, But vaping? What are they worried about now?
I have vaped non flavored for a decade now so they can't smell mine even if close enough.
What they should ban is people with perfume and cologne, Who knows what chemicals are in that?
So, no smoking, no vaping, no drinking... There is pretty much no reason to go to the beach anymore.
On a cruise I had to sit in the smoking section way on the top deck with all the cig, cigar and pipe smokers, breathing in their stink and you can't vape on your own balcony either.
There is a work around for any public place if you are unflavored, exhale through a slightly damp washcloth so they don't see.

Or hold in for a couple of seconds until it dissipates. I was doing that last night while getting drinks with my priest at the tavern last night.

I was paranoid on a cruise. The towel trick was great. I mean, siting on a balcony looking at an ocean and no vape? Really? I've also done that in a movie theater, holding it in a little and blowing through my shirt. You can't smell mine.
I once had 4 unmasked people with covid in my house. I was the only one that didn't get it while I chain vaped most of the time.
