Fluval vs Polyfill - What is better

Is there anyone who has tried a side by side comparison of fluval vs poly fill in their carts? I'm wondering what is better?

Also, in stuffing the carts, I've seen many videos and everyone appears to stuff differently. Have you tried different way with results on each? I'm looking for some advice rather than trying to recreate experiments.

What appeared to work the best for me was less wadding, thin and wispy, running all the way down the cart.

I've seen users really wad it up and not go all the was down the cart.

Let me know what has worked best for you and VERY interested in the fluval vs. poly fill question.

I'm sure this topic has been discussed before, but maybe we have some new fresh ideas.

I use polyfill batting, it's like a polyfill pad or blanket. One square folded in half. It eliminates messing with straws as it leaves a hole down the center. I only fill from the top. Works terrific for me.

IMO both were equally no good- they are made of a lot of hairs, eventually 1 hair will move towards the atty and start burning- I use Lypton Pyramid Tea Bag- no hair- perfect wicking- great taste

Also I think alligning the cart helps alot

Not at all. It does not hold in the tea taste like cotton does. Also, just rinse it in water if you are worried. IT cleans in 3 seconds and drys even faster.

Also if you roll it up and fold it just right, it leaves two small hollow areas at the ends that work just like the straw mod.

Right, but I looked at her flavor list and it looks similar to Dekang's who's making pretty much all the juice out there.

Thanks, Mooby. Great mod! I was getting very frustrated with my carts: drying up too fast, burning fibers, nasty taste. I was about to buy a whole new set when I found this! YAY. And I happened to have a box of tea bags in the cupboard. Maybe my Riskee Juice will taste better to me now.

its only works with the pyramid tea bags because they are nylon, remember that.

I've been to 3 stores already and not 1 had the Pyramid tea. Any suggestions as to where to find these? I live in Florida.
