I got a pack of Fluxomizers from gotvapes and after modding them successfully, I'm having a leaking issue that I can't really figure out. The mod went perfectly fine and performs as it should, but for some reason I get leaking from the battery end. This is weird because the only way that could happen (that I know of) is if juice gets inside the tube. Now, last night I filled it up and when I woke up this morning, half the juice was on my table. It's still continues to leak today. It's a very slow leak, been almost 24 hours since I filled it and it's just about halfway full. I haven't vaped on it other than a 3 or 4 times to test the mod.

I'm trying to figure out what's causing it. It's not the cup seal, the seal is good and it was upright all night so it wouldn't make a difference anyway. The wicks are fluffed, but not to the point where they go above the cup. I mean, unless the thing is defective and actually has a small hole in the tube, I can't figure out where's it coming from.

If anyone has any experience with these things, any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like it might be a bad seal on the heatshrink tubing or the bottom o-ring seal is not properly seated.

Is it coming through the air tube or out the side ?

I checked that to try and determine where the problem is. I wiped off to the battery connection and the threads and let it sit for a short period of time. I then checked where the first signs of liquid came from. The section where the plastic tube connects with the battery connection was dry. It seems the leak is coming from the very bottom. The section that's under the threads. Literally the very bottom of the device. As far as I know, the only way that's possible is if juice from inside is somehow getting into the inner tube. I can't figure out how that's possible with the thing half empty and standing upright.

The inner tube is connected to the positive terminal of the atty. This terminal is press fitted into the negative 'housing' through a rubber grommet (insulation). Either the tube connection is dodgy, or I suspect the grommet has been damaged between the positive and negative components

So, if I understand you correctly, you're telling me it came out of the package like this? Cause the mod I performed didn't go anywhere near those parts. All I did was gently remove the cup seal and fluff the wicks. I'm just trying to figure out if it was my doing, a design issue or a quality control issue.

Not telling you .. mearly trying to offer suggestions.

Have you tried the mod on another one with the same result ?

Could just be a quality defect.

Yeah, I didn't mean telling me as in "this is the definitive answer", hehe. No, I haven't tried it on another one yet. I suppose I'll do it tonight and see what happens.

It is the o-ring at the bottom.
2 months ago I got a pack of 2.6-2.8 with a mod they were great. A few days ago I got 2 packs of 2.4-2.6 and had the same issues of leaking. I soldered the new ce2 parts to one of my old bases. This completely solved the problem. I sent a ticket to gotvapes to see if there is anything they can do. Hopefully at the very least they will get rid of the ones with the bad o-rings. I don't mind flipping the gaskets but soldering my own ce2 is a little over the top.
