I just flew from San Diego to Seattle with a Provari and an Evod as well as three carto tanks at least half full of liquid. I put everything in a separate case in my carry-on. I had all of the tanks in their containers (IBtanked thingies) and the batteries for my Provari in baggies by themselves within a larger baggie. The Evod's were just by themselves in the case. I brought about six bottles of liquid but put them in my checked bag just in case. I also had extra cartos and coil heads in my carry-on case. I didn't have a problem going through security at all.

I know that you cannot check batteries so you need to put those in your carry-on. I made sure everything was taken apart and separate before going through security. I think as long as you have everything disassembled it will be fine.

I've never had an issue and fly almost weekly. There isn't much the TSA hasn't seen. I have a small case with tanks and put that in the tray out of my bag so it won't look like something else in the X-ray. The only hassle I ever had was a can of shaving cream that was over 3 oz. I usually have that in my check bag but was flying carry on only for that trip. It's all legal stuff so even if they want a closer look they won't stop it

To be safe:

* Batteries in a case in carry-on
* Mods in checked luggage
* Juice in checked luggage
* Tanks (with liquid) in carry-on liquids baggie
* Tanks (empty) in carry-on or checked luggage

That said, I have taken all of the above in carry-on with no issues... but... my juice was <100ml and my devices were regulated mods. Been to a few different continents with all this - no issues, not even any questions.

I will be headed to the airport soon on a company trip. I was wondering if I can take a mech mod and some batteries on the plane with me. Any experienced flyers out there that might would know if it's ok to bring my vaping gear with me?

We were supposed to fly from Madison to Vermont this summer (ended up taking the train instead...long story) and I called TSA in Madison. They said that they were familiar with mechs, and that there would be no problems so long as the batteries were kept in a battery case in carry on luggage. They sounded like they had seen all there was to see.

I fly often and have never had a problem. I just put my Provari and tanks in my purse. I carry extra supplies in my carry on. The TSA has never even asked to look at any of it.

I had a vape at LAX with two TSA agents that were vaping and they said that all of it is fine to take through in purses or carry on. Just don't fill your tanks too full, the pressure change can make things leak.
