Happy New Year, everybody!

Ugh, I'm on my Powerbook from 15 years ago that neither Photoshop nor the internet are liking. Sucks. Just won an eBay auction for a 5-year old one though, so hopefully it won't be too much longer - hopefully it'll work, found out AFTER I won that it was the one lemon that Apple sold (bad graphics chip, less than 50% success rate) - I know I owe people some Playa cards.

A little update on my Origen Genesis: I've been vaping this crappy French Toast that I've been trying to use up. On the SqR, Orchid and Heron, it's a nondescript, sweet, syrupy taste. On the Origen, I can actually taste the bread and egg in the batter. Pretty cool. The smell is nauseatingly sweet though, like walking into a syrup factory - glad this flavor's almost gone.

And I'm all about single coil now. On the Orchid, I just stuck an M2 screw wrapped with Teflon tape in the unused airhole...which makes me want an Aqua V2 now. Harbor Freight has these POM grommets that I've been making plugs out of - just haven't gotten around to it. I did make one for the Origen fill hole though - just couldn't take that frigging screw anymore.

I know you guys are all about regulated boxes now, but NIkki, is there a review coming up of the praxis? And Nathan, is the brass SMPL coated like the copper one? thx

My Aqua v2 hates me. I'm getting good performance if I baby it but I'll get dry hits on long pulls. I thought it was the .3 2mm single coil so I tried dual 3mm coils at .5, still not quite right... 3rd build imminent, in the meantime a lucky roll at the craps table last night let me order a subtank today

Edit: well on this one I could see the problem the side showing browning when I took her apart was packed tight with rayon, may try 2.4s this time anyway

Try things the heck out of those tails, trim 75% off right at the coil cut the remaining tail at an angle. I know it goes against every fiber in our body to trim a wick like that but that's what rayon likes and once it's the right fit in the coil and trimmed correctly you'll be golden. Post that pic over on the rayon thread and see what the folks say about thinning the tails.

Glad to see you back Cindy! The brass SMPL is coated but it is kind of a POS. At first, I thought it was every bit as good as my copper FC SMPL. Not so much. The switch is much worse and the top cap is starting to separate. I assumed it was from the same manufacturer as the copper but I'm thinking now that it's not. The copper came with the vaunted QC card, lol. I'll likely implore Ms. Doris to hook me up with a replacement. It does look good though.

Can't wait for your Dimitri review and voltage drop tests (I was going type VD tests, but, um... ). It is a big device but I use a Sig100+ and the Cigreen ABS box on the regular so it's not big deal. I've gotten used to the switch now as well. I like it... at least enough to keep around until I get bored with it and want something different.

I do need an Aqua V2, for sure. The KF4? Not really my thing. I wish the UD Goblin was a little sexier looking because I will have one of those as well. Maybe the Silverplay... dunno.

The Dimitri is nice as long as you have the hands to use it When I hold it, it kills my sexy Goddess vibe and we can't have that. I already planted the seed to Doris about the Youde Goblin too, but I need the Bird to come back to work I don't think she should be allowed any vacations

Had a little time to tinker today, made a clear tank for my Heron out of a 10ml juice bottle and wanted to share the results in case anyone else with a Heron wants to try it

I still haven't used my Origen Genesis which is tragic, but every week there is something new so its hards to get to all this stuff .. MY review que is INSANE right now .. I seriously am having issues

Yes, I have 2 Praxis mods with one on the way .. two Limwell SS and Black in hand and Yosen just shipped me a Brass one They will all look sexy with the Hobo V2 that I also have not built or vaped yet Not sure I will keep them though, but I am reviewing all of them .. prolly together If you can wait for it, I will send you whichever one you want when I am done with review .. which might not be until February

FYI I have not so much as installed a battery or atty in any of them yet ...

I still haven't used my Origen Genesis which is tragic, but every week there is something new so its hards to get to all this stuff .. MY review que is INSANE right now .. Thanks for the advice everyone. Build #3 26ga duals 2.4mm 0.6ohm and some more wick trimmed off the shoulders, half a tank down @ 35W no dry hits yet just yummy rips, so far so good!

Well, this vapemail didn't suck. SX Mini, Dimitri, and brass Hobo all showed up this morning.

Haven't used the Dimitri yet as I'm waiting for its batteries to be charged. SX Mini is pure awesomeness. It's the most expensive vape gear I've ever purchased and I'm convinced it is worth every penny... assuming of course it demonstrates good reliability over the long haul. It is so good I'm tempted to buy another.

Nice looking line up, like the look of that sx mini, wish I had one, oh wait, I got one today too

I'm like you, most expensive mod I have bought, but it is worth every penny, loving this mini

Don't tease me Nathan! We need another reviewer because I really can't do it all myself, and I don't want keep trying. I took this week off because I am burnt out after grinding out reviews for 5 months straight ... I's so tired Written reviews are so time consuming, it takes a lot longer to shoot photos, edit them, reshoot some of them, and then write about it all. Sometimes I am sitting in the front of the computer like "umm ..well, err .. hmm... ummm"

It didn't work for me. By the same token, I was kinda struggling to find something to buy.
I AM, however, sorely tempted to get the Aqua. I'm making up my mind some point this weekend to either wait and see how the Silverplay does first, or just pull the trigger now.

The Silverplay sure does look the part doesnt it. I want one just based on aesthetics but that always ends bad for me so I will wait for your review.
