I briefly thought about the rDNA40, but I had no interest in switching to nickel so that sorta sent that out the window. Plus I'd decided against getting another $100+ mod without waiting it out and seeing how it maintains itself over time.

I'm thinking with the Cloupor having an actual evolv chip that it'll likely address most of my issues with this device within the same price point. Cheaper actually. But thanks for the suggestion.

I spun the FC Wheel of Destiny hoping to score a couple of $10 codes. First spin, nada. Second spin netted me this:

Thanks Nailz. I do admire the pics of Drifter's Cartel mods. Maybe I'll put them in rotation after all... they do look pretty sweet. Guess I need a Stillare now... you know, to complete the package.

I am going to rant a bit here...I placed my order for the SX Zero Modz stocked at the US warehouse on the 21. The money was immediately taken out and for the next couple of days it still showed as in stock. I never did get a notice saying it had been shipped but I chalked it up to the holidays.

I contacted Doris last night and then was told that my order hadnt went through and they were out of stock but expect more in soon. Doris was very nice and helpful and of course it was the holidays but I still cant help but be upset about the whole thing.

I'm just letting off steam here...but if my money was immediately taken my order should have went through just as fast! LOL

I had a similar situation when I ordered my Robbot ZNA from the U.S. warehouse a few months ago.
I was actually able to place a order for a out of stock item even tho the website posted that it was in stock.

Got a email from Doris explaining the mixup and told me that they would be back in stock soon. Four days later I got my ZNA shipped from the U.S. warehouse. Doris was also nice and offered a freebie the next time I ordered from the China warehouse, so last week when I ordered my Robbot Kayfun 4 she included a free Vulcan RDA for my troubles.

I got the thick walled version from focalecig after all your praise. Sorry if I forgot to mention once I got it that it was a really nice mod. The thin walled offering that's the newest focalecig offering (which matches the pre Thanksgiving blow out from another company) aren't as nice but still very nice mods. Both my copper and brass are in daily rotation.

Its not like the Cartel has the best switch ever or the best top cap or design or any one thing in particular. But each of those are has a good choice. All put together it really is a nice mechanical.

Man, those do look really nice Drifter. I'll have to score a copper Stillare for sure now. And, I certainly can't complain about the price, lol. I just figure FC's algorithm must somehow recognize the cash I've spent in the last few months. But, that doesn't explain the several blanks I've hit on the FC Wheel of Destiny



As for Five Pawns, I have 10 mods in action at the moment, nine of them rocking the Pawns.

I have read a few bad reviews about a short in the Amod Origens but then I saw a listing for ones made by Tobeco....is it just a bad listing or are Tobeco making their own version now?

No, Roxy can't go all authentic . But, there are no Eviva clones so when one popped up in the classies, I made an offer.

I need a Gus Estia clone now, which also don't exist. That one is a pretty penny so I won't be getting that anytime soon unless Nikki can convince Robbot or someone its worth making

the 510 pin of my sxmini is broken.. sigh.. remember: don't touch (even look at, lol) the screw.

well, the pin isn't broken. it's the gasket/insulator, which is pushed by the spring. curios way to make the pin floating: the gasket is pushed by the spring, and the gasket pushes the screw? but that gasket is made by teflon or something like this, and gets degraded; so, if you insert an atty with a very long 510, the pressure can make the screw is buried into the below gasket.
i think it's like the usual problem of the vamo's 510, dunno

I think he meant he was going to upgrade it with an Evolv chip. According to a FB post from Cloupor, it comes with the same chip as they use in their v3 Hana clones which is supposedly one of the better clone chips on the market. .

You have every right to be upset and rant .. I yell at Doris all the time about their janky inventory system, seriously. It pisses me off too A constant of items that are shown out of stock, but are really in stock, and items that show in stock, but are really out of stock.

But the good news is that the new stock of SX Zero is already in the US, they just haven't updated the system yet. I asked Doris about it in wee hours of the morning when I was asking if they had ordered the new wood SX Zero yet? I am sure it will ship soon .. but again, RANT VALID.
