Yes of course they did, because I just ordered a V2 VF from the other place last night

Been waiting a long time for a VF, so decided to pull the trigger on the V2 last night, but I am not interested in the temp control and the one I ordered is a 40watt flask, so not to bothered, but would of rather ordered from FC personally.

I don't think Nikki has any info about the VF focal posted today, as was talking to her about ordering the VF last night, and she never mentioned FC was getting one this soon.

Wrong Nailzy Nikki does know about FC's VF V3, I am the only reason that they know about it too ... I never mentioned it to you because you already said you were not interested in TP dear. ;-)

Yes .. they should leave it blank or just put "Made in China" Damn near every thing I look at these days in my house sys made in China ... why stop now?

Wowzers. I made an order from FC on 1/14 and it arrived in the US on 1/18. It only took 4 days to go from China to the Chicago!
For some reason it's still hasn't left Chicago eight days later.

Focal is rocking it out and the USPS is fumbling the ball. *cry*

No I'm not interested in the TP, but you don't have to use it with that though do you? But it is ok, still getting a VF and it did ship today too, so fingers crossed I will have 1 in my hand in 2 weeks

Yeah, ....... I've spent all but the first three of my 43 years on this planet living in Virginia and never planned to leave... especially not for Atlanta. I own the house I planned on retiring in, my wife and kids love it here, and I'm extremely change averse. But, I don't have much choice. It's either relocate or quit and there aren't any other viable employment options locally which can offer the same money and job security. It's not just me... all 500 people in my building are being relocated.

My daughter is a junior in high school and she and my wife will stay here until she graduates in May 2016. Then my daughter will go off to college and my wife will move to ATL. It's going to suck. My only hope is to finagle my way into a position at our corporate HQ in Norfolk, VA before having to go to the Atlanta office. The plan is to have everyone relocated by Sept 1, 2015.

No, you don't have to use the TP feature which is activated only when a nickel wire is detected. While using Kanthal wire it operates like a regular variable wattage device. Also, when we were talking about it last night, we were originally speaking of the 30W ... but you are right, I could have at least mentioned it to you. But I didn't know exactly "when" they would have it either, so that is the other reason I didn't think to say anything.

As long as its not defective, I think you will be happy with the one you ordered.

Thanks Burnie. I'd still have to move (about 4 hours away) if I can score a job at HQ but I'd still be in Virginia and we'd be close to our son in college. So, it would be the lesser of two evils, for sure. I just really, really don't like Atlanta.

Oh wow hun this is major indeed .. you would think that these companies would be more conscious of the fact that people have families, and how this might affect them. I hope that you can get yourself a position in corporate so that your family doesn't get separated like this. Stay positive hun, you never know what could happen between now and September ... "Ask, Believe, Receive" , which is more powerful when you are in acceptance of what is now.

Yeah, USPS is ridiculous. It took my last FT order 4 days to get from China to LA, but 6 days to get from LA to SF (±700 miles away). And I'm still not getting it. Why does everybody else's order go to SF and SF orders go to LA? Why not just drop the SF orders in SF?
