I was wondering how you where doing Nik!!! saw on the news last night you guys where going to get a record snowfall... alls well though?

Thank you for thinking of me honey  Aside from a major headache and some muscle soreness I am ok .. My neighbor across the street has a snowblower, and you would think that they would offer to let me use it as I struggle to dig out over 3ft of snow from my two car driveway which was also plowed in at the end .. you would think :glare:

Its a all good, I am blessed to have great physical strength, so I go it done in about an hour and half. :)

Oh sure, rub it Rox! :p

Well, I bet my driveway is much longer if that makes you feel better  And I live in the flattest, windiest county in Ohio. I'm surrounded by farm fields so all the snow from those fields ends up in my yard. Last year the snow was so deep I was higher than my barn roofs walking over those drifts  I hope to never see a winter like that again. We not only broke all the snow records, but all the cold ones, too :( 20+ feet of snow in my yard, -20F with -70F wind chills.

Does anyone here have any experience with Vamped 2300mah 40A batteries? I need to go stalk HKJ's site ...

They aren't 40A according to everything I've seen about them. Your best bets for high-drain batteries are still Sony VTCs, Sammy 20/25Rs and LG HE2/HE4s. Nobody currently manufactures cells that are rated over 30A continuous.

Inswva - Sorry about your move. Hope your deal with HQ works out for you.

Thanks .. I already bought another pair of Samsung's, I don't buy untested batteries :)

I have noticed their juice does get better with age. From posts I have read some take 60 to 90 days, and get better the longer they steep. Some do taste good FOOB, and I have enough to see how some of them mature over time.

Yes I have used Google many times, trying different search words, looking for another clone chip or even the origional (depending on price), but have had no luck, all I am finding is the full mod. I'm not going to reset it and see if it is just the indicator lights, or if the mod shuts off before the battery is dead. I only use my larger mods at home, so no big deal.

Variable Wattage Power Regulation With A Brilliant One-Button User Interface Is Finally Available in the USA | The Nivel Chip

This site was selling the Nivel chip in the US about a year ago. There is an email address to contact them listed at the top left of the home page of this site. I don't know if this person is still selling them or not. I have read that it is the guy from ClickBang.

Oh why aren't you just awesome! :)

For sure not awesome....
Just old, retired and spend way too much time on the internet with this new "hobby". I think I had more free time when I was working a full time job.

Do you know if FC is going to stock the temp controlled VF in the US warehouse? I read the entire thread on it on the UK forum and it for sure sounds like it may be ok. I have been looking for a small mod with two batteries and I think I can live with 40 watts. The temp control would be fun to play with until the Yihi J board comes out.

Received my second Lancia from the US warehouse this morning. It appears to be slightly different than the one I received last week. This one has air flow plugs with four cuts around the base of each one, presumably to make it easier to seat the plugs. The center post is also a tad wonky (slightly turned) and the insulator appears to be different. I don't have the other one at work with me today so I'm just going off memory. I'll give them a more thorough comparison tonight. I'm not terribly concerned about the center post since I'm sending this one off to have it modified for bottom feed and the center post will have to come out anyway. Just thought it was interesting that the same SKU from the US warehouse, ordered only days apart, are markedly different.

Yeah, ....... I've spent all but the first three of my 43 years on this planet living in Virginia and never planned to leave... especially not for Atlanta. I own the house I planned on retiring in, my wife and kids love it here, and I'm extremely change averse. But, I don't have much choice. It's either relocate or quit and there aren't any other viable employment options locally which can offer the same money and job security. It's not just me... all 500 people in my building are being relocated.

My daughter is a junior in high school and she and my wife will stay here until she graduates in May 2016. Then my daughter will go off to college and my wife will move to ATL. It's going to suck. My only hope is to finagle my way into a position at our corporate HQ in Norfolk, VA before having to go to the Atlanta office. The plan is to have everyone relocated by Sept 1, 2015.
Wow. I sure do sympathize with you- the reason I am where I am is... you guessed it: "forced" relocation. Would have told them to shove it but too close to retirement to start back at square one with a new position.

FWIW there are areas surrounding Atlanta proper that can be okay depending on what you're looking for. We're not into the metro scene so we went several counties east of Atlanta and have come to actually like the little town. Reminds me of where I grew up in FL actually.

Hopefully you will get the VA position and be able to salvage your life as it now is. If not, stop by and we can commiserate over the unjustness of life! lol
