It's been awhile since we had a conversation here :( I can't keep up anymore, found my vape zen for awhile now. But I'm looking ;) I'm always here but don't post as much.

Yes it has Weez :) So what is your vape zen anyway? You were on a rip for a long time, then it seemed like you became reformed or something

Speaking of the Dimitri... all of 4 days after my VC review went live my Dimitri mysteriously stopped firing tonight. I took it completely apart this evening, found nothing that looked wonky, put it back together, and still no love. So, I swapped in the spare 510 assembly and now it is working again. I'm kind of flummoxed since I can't figure out what could possibly fail in the 510 assembly. I'm pretty sure the only reason a spare is included is due to the copper threads possibly wearing out and the threads on the installed assembly are still perfect. I have no clue what happened. I haven't even been drinking this evening!

I'll probably swap the original 510 back in tomorrow at work and see what happens. The Dimitri is 100% mechanical and, unless something physically breaks, it should be rock solid.
My copper Vapelyfe mod did exactly the same thing today. Took the mod apart, everything looked good, put it back together, and PFFT nothing. Took the Heron apart too, and tried a bunch of other ones. No love. Turned out to be crud buildup on the magnet that I had on the battery.

That is so weird  I can't think of what would cause it to suddenly stop firing as well, most especially since it is fully mechanical. Keep us updated on that. Mine has been sitting in its box ever since you took the lead on the review of it. So I will be getting rid of it ..

9 times outta 10 a bad negative electrical connection will be the culprit- at least in my experience w/things automotive. Easiest to overlook too, because most times the wiring is in place, just not doing its job. I've always checked for the 510 to have a dedicated ground. If the 510 is relying on the ground going through the enclosure, I'd be looking there first.

There is zero wiring in the Dimitri which is what makes the problem so strange.

Anyone know where I can source a Nemesis beauty ring? I received a Nemy hybrid top cap today to try and hybrid a 510 atty onto my IN'AX Nano tube. It looks less than awesome, lol. A Nemy beauty ring would fill the gap nicely. I don't want to buy a whole mod to accomplish this.

edit: nvm, I think I found some.

I just stopped buying mods. I was looking at all the mechs, tanks, drippers just collecting dust and shaking my head. I don't even use them anymore. I found one I liked and been using it the last couple months.

Reformed to not spend lol.

I need one more from you :). That Origen dripper. Lol. It's always one more , as long as I'm not buying in bulk I can get away with some new items here and there.

After cloud chasing fad went away I started vaping Castle Long, been hooked on it since. I went to flavor vapes now. So my gear went towards those RDA's.

Also my bad experience with that Erlkonigin threw me off tanks. I was so tempted to just spend the cash and get some real ones but could've been a bad purchase as well.

All my previous attys I drilled them all out for maximum airflow  I know, "dumb@ss!!!!!" So they are in the parts bin for insulators and such things.

I was stuck on the Magma and now Origen dripper on the Sig 100 W. That's all I carry everyday. Sometimes the SMPL here and there.

Not to say I haven't ordered anything, I have a package on the way. ;) Now I'm just doodling over DIY recipes and trying them out.

Received my set of Kuro "style" coilers today from FT. These things are boss. I had some twisted 26ga strands in my desk drawer (don't we all, right?) and figured I'd roll it with the 2.5mm Kuro. Bam!

And, to keep some FC content up in this piece, I found a use for the blue zipper case which came with my SX Zero:

If I didn't already have the coil master, I'd get this set. I really don't like all the moving parts with no size label on the coil master. I also never wrap coils smaller than 2.0 so the 1.0 and 1.5 never get used.

What gear works well for a chain vaper like me with a 1.0-1.5mm coil?!!?!

how much was the set?

Something like $6.82? Less than $7 for sure.

I rarely roll anything but 2.0mm and 2.5mm. Every once in a blue moon I'll wrap 3mm coils. So, this set is perfect for my needs.
