The original FC Hobo deck was super janky. Doris sent me a new deck but I continued using the original deck since it did work despite the defects... until the insulator fried with a .21ohm build. I didn't have confidence in the new deck's insulator so I passed the atty on with the new deck. My copper clone has been good to go though.

Ok well its good that I don't vape that low, so I think my insulator will be ok .. I think

After a bit more research I decided that I am definitely not getting an authentic Taifun 2 .. was watching Shozza's review and he put up the specs and it said "Stainless Steel" with no mention of the grade. Went to the sites of all authorized resellers and same thing, "stainless steel" no grade

I will not pay $200 for a "stainless steel" atomizer with grade unknown. What is up with that? ... disappointed :(

Anyone have any thoughts on the KAMRY 20 Variable Voltage

How is the chip?

My only thought is that I am getting one so I can find out if its any good. I asked Doris to get the Kamry 20 after I saw pics of it on Yosen's FB .. but I want the Copper colored one that isn't finished production yet.

Looks really good in the promo pics, I asked Doris what she thought of it when they got it and she said it felt sturdy and well built .. thats all I got.

I wash everything, taking no risks of messing a tank of my juice, doesn't take long to clean :)

Ok you was right Nikki, it is better than the Atlantis, the flavor is good, but most noticeable is the vapor for me, I know most say the Atlantis gives more vapor due to more airflow, but I mostly vape mouth to lung, and vaping this way, I get more vapor with the subtank than the Atlantis.

Well looks like the Atlantis is now done, wasted money there

Also as Nikki said, goes perfect on the zero ;)

{Takei}Oh my!{/Takei}

You're not helping at all, Nailz. That's such a gorgeous combination. The only problem is that I feel like I need to get them both at once, like a set. The Subtank just looks silly on too many things, but when it's right, it's just perfect.

My Hobo came with a rubber insulator installed in the top, it was pretty bad I melted it on the first build. I did not want to give up on it because I thought the size would give good flavor. I took it apart and ended up robbing the bottom insulator from my fogger v4.1 and installed that as the top insulator on the hobo. Its all good now but I was pretty disappointed.

Hi all... never ordered from focal but i've ordered tons from FT. Is there any advantage of going with Focal for seemingly the same stuff? Is it that much faster shipping?

I order from both places but will usually go with FC over FT given the same (or very similar) item. Shipping has been kind of hit or miss with both places. FC usually gets in stock items out the door fairly quickly. Of course, once anything is in the hands of EMS, all bets are off. Price wise, FT seems to be a little cheaper than FC but FC coupon codes usually negate that. I have also become fairly addicted to collecting FC reward points and spinning the FC Wheel of Destiny (my name, not theirs, lol). While perhaps not everyone's experience, I've received *outstanding* customer service and support from FC.

Also, FC has a USA warehouse. Those items ship very quickly. If FT ever opens up a distribution point here then it's game on.

Nice... thanks for the info! Putting in a big order of "stuff" in'ax nano, LPG, tons of kayfun bits and bobs, SMPL, Marquis rda, bunch of hybrid adapters and caps and tips...

I dont see too much of the smaller items on FC. Kayfun nano quartz kits, bell caps etc. And yes... i do see that they are more expensive. Hmmm probably stick with FT and wait a little longer.

Unrelated: Anyone find a clone of the Praxis Derringer yet? I know they're being developed right now but havent seen any for sale. I want to try that little guy out before i buy the real deal... @$65 that's something one should support the modder with.

Some of FC's items are higher quality than FT's offerings. They are more likely to have brands like SXK/Infinite, Tobecco, Robbot Tech, Amod, etc. But for pieces parts I generally have to go to FT. Like I just bought replacement ceramic cups for my Rose clones and more acrylic tanks for my Aquav2.

I would rather buy a black Stingray X by SXK from FC since I have 2 of their Stingrays and love them than to buy an unknown brand one from FT for $2 less. And got it from the US warehouse so I'm hoping to see it by Saturday.

Understood. FC definitely doesn't have the inventory FT has - they are a fraction of the size of FT. I will say this though, I've owned a few SMPL clones and the nicest one I have, by far, is the copper clone I received from FC. It is of much better quality than any others I've sourced. The IN'AX Nano from FC is very nice as well but I suspect the one on FT is the same unit. When comparing prices figure FC prices at 10% less than listed (code fcvapingcheap). Be advised, the code does not apply to US warehouse items.

I've not seen a clone of the Derringer in the wild yet. I'll have the authentic by this time next week though.

I'll def check out the SMPL from FC thanks for the heads up. (about the code as well!)

I'm jealous of your Derringer... please do a nice in-depth about it! That little guy will be so nice on a LPG... or even IN'AX Nano with nemisis hybrid adapter... mmmmm, tiny!

Whoa... I just checked the copper SMPLs on FC and neither of them are the version I purchased. Looks like they switched suppliers. Look for ones with the c-clip button in the switch rather than the button with the big slotted head. The c-clip versions are two piece switches like the authentic. The threaded, slotted head buttons are not. The $12 FC version has the c-clip button but it looks kind of rough. The second nicest SMPL clone I have is a black A-Mod from bestpriceecig.

I will certainly share my thoughts on the Derringer. Mine is coming modified for bottom feed but will have the original pin as well so I can run it on a "conventional" mod. I ordered the Nemesis hybrid stuff from FT this morning to run it on my IN'AX (along with the 3pc Kuro coiling jig set).

Good stuff! Def post pics of the Derr on the IN'AX... that's what my future plans are... gotta look sexy!

I've been telling Doris for a long time that they need to step up their accessories game. FT is my go to accessories vendor .. FC has added more drip tips but they need a lot more. Doris did order KF4 sub ohm kits, and full replacement parts kits though. Not sure when they will show in stock.

Received my Tobeco KF4 today. As my only tank at the moment (Orchid v4 insulator gave out), I can't really compare it to anything else, but, I love it! Gonna try to polish it to match the finish of my Stingray X.
