I'm still here. I read this every morning after checking the new arrivals at both FC and FT.

Gotta say I'm glad the Poldiac is finally getting some love here. My clone was my daily driver for probably ten months before the Hana. Love that mod like no other. Wish i could afford the authentic.

Anyway, just know that I'm always here.

Oh you must have one of the Asmart clones, that is the only one I ever heard good stuff about. Are you sure you can't afford an authentic one, they are on sale (Classic V1's) and come out to about $111 shipped directly from MMVapors Not sure if the Euro is still down, but it was when me and Roxy got ours, and this is a steal deal for sure.

I am glad that you are still around and watching hun, you were always more a lurker than regular poster, but it was nice that came out of lurk mode for a moment.

With proper care they can live a very long time. The current record (documented) is 109 years. That was also an amazon. My vet has one that is 102! 50-60 is considered average though for an amazon.

Pete wasn't well cared for by his previous owner. We've battled malnutrition and fatty liver. We may always be battling high cholesterol and hypertension.

A bit of dichotomy in my vape mail today - the $165 rta and the $7 FC 4nine "Special Edition" clone, lol.

And, speaking of the FC 4nine clone, it's pretty much junk which I guess is no surprise. I removed the additional connector bits in the top cap to go hybrid with it and can only get it to fire if I don't use the top part of the magnet switch. If I stick the bottom part of the switch to the battery I can get it to fire so I know the top magnet spacer piece is janky. No matter how I adjust the magnet in the spacer, no love. Oh well... I bought this thing to use for patina practice anyway.

edit: spoke too soon. I got it working... stupid magnet has to be "just right" in the spacer. 1/4 rotation either way and it won't fire. I guess I could sand the spacer down a bit but, eh, I'm not that motivated.

The 4nine is worth $7, I guess. Mine has stopped working again because the top switch contact keeps working itself out of the plastic retainer ring and loses contact with bottom part of the switch. It really is kind of a POS... or, at least mine is. But, again, it'll be a good guinea pig for patina projects.

edit: it does, however, kind of make me want an authentic now.

i inserted a celo-tape between the plastic and the magnet piece in all mines (i.e. across the thread). it doesn't move now.

Well you made a good choice, on a classic and innovative mechanical mod dear. And its phenomenal deal as well as there are US vendors still selling a single battery configuration for $235 plus .. Did you get the MiriamWTH or the Cloud Wizard? One has a slotted shirt (CW) and the Miriam does not.

My next MMV score will be the Special Edition Rope clothes, but I will need to sell a Kidney first because it cost twice what the Poldiac did But it is sensational and I must have it. A small part of me regrets getting the two Paps V3's instead of the Clothes ..
