So what did you buy? The VF?

I haven't yet, as black with usb not in yet, but was told they are meant to get the black usb flask next week, and yes planning to get one, have no interest in the TC, but you know how long my other flask lasted, and these Kangxin flasks seems to be getting good reviews and not seen hardly any issues with them, and guess the TC will be there if want to try it at some point.

    "patent theft"

I know this is old, but in order forit to be "patent theft" there would need to be a patent. I thought it was common knowledge that it is very rare for vape products to be patented.

Also if you invest your life savings into a product you know is going to be "cloned" with in weeks of release, you kind of deserve to loose it for making such a poor business decission. Holy long sentence.

New Derringer clone posted today and it's discounted... after seeing mostly positive reviews around the web, I think it's time to find out for myself!

Id make sure its the Wotofo/A-Mod clone. So far theyre known to be the best and Ive have to agree. Thing throws some some serious clouds. My friend has a Tobeco(i think) and mine is a step above in maching and 510 thredding.

Besides that Ive never ordered from FC how is their shipping? I know they have the US warehouse but nothing shows up when I click the link, ill just occasionally see US next to a product.

If its in the US Warehouse, you'll get it in 2-4 days. If it comes from China, its usually 2 weeks.

I live in upstate New York. Typically once the package hits China Post its 6 or 7 working days to get to US customs in NYC. Customs is usually a day but can take longer, particularly if your package get chosen as one of the randomly checked ones. You have no control over that. Then once its out of customs its however long it takes the USPS to deliver. Typically 2 days for me. Fastest I ever received a package was 8 days from ordering, longest 22 days. Exactly where you are in the US along with how well whatever particular customs your packages go to can effect shipping time. Obviously living close to an efficient customs center and being close (in delivery time terms) to the center can shave 2 days off compared to someone who lives in a far away location or is served by an inefficient customs center.

Just got home from work and saw it, the order is in, and was able to use $10 off coupon too, so actually worked out cheaper than my VF V2

Now the wait begins, thanks for thinking of me when you saw it posted roxy ;)

First thing I did this morning as I took my first sip of coffee :)

I still want one, too, but need to wait til next month. Of course by then, my lucky money will be invalid, I'm sure.

I've been on overtime all week, so the new arrivals haven't been posted before I go to work, has sucked having to wait till I get home to see what new things been posted.

I didn't use the lucky money, it was only $5 off, but did have a $10 off that I won on the wheel with free points they did.

I just learned the black one is better. Apparently the chip is better, and it has a SS 510. Here I wanted the red one, but now I want the black.

I didn't notice the SS 510, and that tells me it is the Waidea Vapor Flask, SS is better, but that 510 is not adjustable, it is a fixed pin, which doesn't bother me, as be using with a subtank which has a self adjusting pin, but heard a lot of people complaining and got to admit, didn't think anyone should be doing a fixed pin now a days and it will loose Waidea a lot of sales.

But I won't be cancelling mine though, I did prefer the finish on the my Vapor Flask v2, this is more smooth and sheen to it, but as long as it lasts longer than my other one, then I will be happy :)

No, supposedly Kangxin (or however its spelled) just changed it. I guess the non adjustable 510 is working better with temp protection. I wasn't thrilled about that either, but it just means I need to pick an atty that connects good. So far only the black one is available with the new 510 and chip.

You can use kepler copper heat sinks for adjustability, thread protecting, and heatsinking. It took a little fiddling with the pins but then the connection was solid. I would use them on a regulated device even if I didn't need adjustability simply to keep stray heat away from all that ultra-fragile, deliciously meltable circuitry (can you tell I don't trust regulated?). I slap some sacrificial silver plating on the 510 threads of the heat sink, but if the threads ever strip, I could just chuck the thing in the copper plating solution and then re-tap the threads. It's nice to have a part you can remove and repair. Though I have not yet stripped the threads on one of the first heat sinks I bought that is sitting on my rDNA 40. Gotta be careful when connecting atties and you *should* get at least a few months out of it. Personally I wouldn't bother with stainless heat sinks because the heat dissipation is barely noticeable compared to a copper heat sink. But if you just want adjustability, it should work fine.

Never got my lucky money code. Should I try sending another email or just give up and order something somewhere else? I kinda feel left out since other people got theirs.

If all of them at focal did their job like Doris does there wouldn't be problems. I'd email sales@focalecig.com and put ATTN: Doris in the subject line, I'm sure she will fix it for you but give her a few days to respond. I think sometimes she get's buried fixing others mistakes because more and more people know she's the person to turn to at focal. She is a wonderful person, we need more Doris's in this world.

used the lucky money and coupons (they are working 100%) to get the Taifun TGT II-S by Hotcig ($26.40-$26.99 TGT II-S RBA clone by Hotcig - Silver) and a Kangertech Subtank Nano (this one, for a newbie friend).

about the subtanks, repairing the replaceable coils is very easy, and they perform outstanding. so the nano is the best 19mm choice. i'm also enjoying the rba of the mini a lot (after drilling its juice holes and channels to make them considerably wider).

this taifun is the first one you can disassemble the deck entirely. together with the frosted glass tank, wider air tube, juice and airflow control, i guess it's going to retire my old taifuns. i know i'm going to love it.
