Update: Yes the writing wears off under normal use I am now thinking that it is designed to wear off and leave you with clean nickel.

Any reason this would not work with any other device with a 510 connection? For example, my 901-based – Elegant, ProVape-1, or (upcoming) Infinity – with a 901-to-510 adapter?

Thanks and yes the red tint had to do with the software i was using not really intended for recording youtube vidsDespite the reddish tint to the video
No it will not work with any other device with the exception of the NEW gg slim models and here's why
The Fog itself threads onto the ego cone threads not the atty threads and only a post touches the center positive of the ego battery. Nothing actually screws into the battery itself. Imeo is now including an ego thread adapter on the newer GG slims so the fog can fit it.
I think it only comes with 901 atty connector unless that has changed since I bought mine. The liquid gets pulled through the hole in the side of the atty that a 901 has when you draw on it. Imeo started making 510 connectors to replace the 901 for the avs and afs I don't know if this guys will do the same. On the 510 the liquid gets pulled through the tiny holes near the threads and the connector has to be designed so that when it is screwed in those holes do not get covered.

I think it's safe to say it's nothing like the "the new tank atomizers".
Funstore does have this though that will fit any 510 device (not just the eGo),

I'm sure that is a bit optimistic, but have you found the atties lasting longer?

Oh willy make sure you do a review if you ever purchase any of those exelixis 3 they look really interesting
The reason he says this is because it always stays wet but as longs as you keep ur atty wet it will last the same so the claim really doesn't hold much water IMO
Also you are right it is not a tank atomizers at all it takes a regular old 901 atty. I also want to try a LR KR808 cartomizer the 808's work great in the AFS with a simple hole mod to the side so I think it will be awesome in FOG as well. Not to mention the fact that it will add another 1 ml to the 3.3ml tank
