I didn't read the article but I saw this story on the news. ...... heart wrenching.
Things like this are the reason I avoid watching the news. Too depressing.

Well I've been away again and missed the alleged bullying that went on here, not sure how that would have worked though, shove your PV up your ...? You're just blowing vapor you idiot? You need a VV device for your brain? Your Mama buys your hardware?

There's no question that bullying among children is a serious problem and one that we've never taken seriously enough. When this stuff happens with adults we call it a crime and look to prosecute people. With the kids people just let it happen. Kids deserve the protection of the law as well, in addition to looking to try to educate them in situations where it's not the sticks and stones but the names. Part of the problem here is that kids tend to be much more socially dependant, often to an unhealthy degree. The abusers also need to be educated of course. In the end, we won't get rid of this problem but we can surely deal with it a lot better than we presently do.
