Let's talk cleaning and maintenance. Are there any parts that should not be cleaned with warm water? How about PGA or vodka? Since I got mine second hand I would like to give it a more thorough cleaning.

I wouldn't personally soak the main body with the screws in anything in case it got inside somehow and you were unable to dry it out and it caused any sort of damage, but all the other parts would be Ok to soak.
I was super excited when I got my new Mark-T and it tasted great right from the start with the pre-made coil and wick. I tried out the Nichrome wire and SS Mesh wick, and it is AWESOME! I made a 2.8ohm coil and oxidized the mesh by heating it red hot, dipping it in pure VG, burning it off, and repeating that about 5 times. Set my Provari at 5v and it hits like a train. I did notice that the side the coil is on does matter. At first I put the coil on the side opposite of the hole, and it was all throat hit, nothing else. Once I moved it to the same side as the hole, it got way better.
