So the new Footoon rta has been announced. Looks like some decent ideas, aside from the amount of parts. Its looks as though it used the same coil type as the FX which I'm not totally in love with. I still use my Aqua SE's on a daily basis and the FX on occasion. I may pick it up if its reasonably priced , which he has been trending towards since the Aqua 2 incident. I was messaging him on facebook and he mentioned two tanks coming this month. Hopefully a follow up to the SE or 2.

Sweet! I do not use my FX a whole lot either. The vape is very reminiscent of a sub style tank, which basically is what it is. I do use my V2 daily though and will probably pick up whatever new they come out with, their gear is pretty nice.

I've got one in hand. Videos going up soon. The coils reuse he metal base. They build similar to the fx but easier. Ideally you'll want to purchase some natural untreated body wax strips for the cotton. I have one from the first batch. Sent to me by fotoon. Their second batch will tweak some things.

It's a restricted lung inhale tank for the most part. You'll have to rebuild for mouth to lung as the .4 coils run a bit hot and most vapors who lung hit will want a bit more air I think. If you like restricted lung hits the default coils and fully open dials will suit you really well.

Flavor is quite good.

Like I said I have an Unboxing going up and a review shortly.

Thank you that answered allot. That chamber is very, very small it should be very flavorful. Now the silicone boot that surrounds the coil and cotton I guess there is no issue with over heating those and melting them? And did they do away with the ceramic in the heads? I really like the styling of it and he put a new spin on juice and airflow control didn't he.

Also one last thing about the vape. It's relatively flavorful. There's a pretty high amount of throat hit. Compared to mother tanks. It's time consuming to clean. It's extremely inventive and cotton gets my respect for always getting out there and trying something new.

The core construction is similar to the fx coil. He sent one of those over too. I haven't vaped it yet as this one was much more inventive. So here's still a ceramic core however the bend is different.

No issue with heat on the silicon boot. And I dry hit one coil horribly by accident.

I'd also like to say he sent his to me after discussion about limited availability of fx coils and some general conversation. To be nice. And I've given him some feedback. I wanted his announcement to go before I posted anything but this has been available for a while in Korea. I know he's exploring various coil configurations for Premade.

The fact the metal is swapped is a bit more eco friendly is think and should drastically reduce consumer costs for coils I'd guess. Those are conjecture.


I'll be rebuilding the coils on video with natural body wax cotton (I bleached or treated) , cotton bacon, and the top sheet off KGD. The cotton he uses in the video is identical to wax strips in the USA. We just don't get it on a spool.

What kind of back surgery did you have. I have spondylolisthesis of the 5th lumbar vertebra. There was complete separation of the vertebra from the spine and required a spinal fusion. It has been two years since surgery, but I am back to part time work but have to draw on SSDI to make ends meet.

Yes absolutely. However you would
Probably want to rebuild higher than the stock .4. The airflow and chimney design are good for
Mouth to lung.

Received an aqua UX yesterday. It's a great thank. No leaks and easy to refill. Only issue I have found is the length of the 510 pin. It's about 1mm too long and stops a flush fit to any of my mods.
