I LOVE my nautilus! Just got mine in the other day and planning on getting at least two more. It holds a lot of juice (~5ml) and the draw/flavor is awesome. A little pricey but well worth it!

I got a Nautilus yesterday... I can't say I'm entirely thrilled with it. I love the volume, but I have that with the Hypertank2 also; with the Nautilus, it seems like, the beginning of the draw is so cool, you aren't sure you're getting anything, and then it's so hot it comes close to burning my lips. Wondering if the 2.2 ohm coils would help it any, but, discussing it with JeremyR in a few other threads, he seems to think it wouldn't change the vape very much. I may end up trying to trade it in the co-op forum. Maybe it's just because I'm not used to dual coil atomizers.

Good advice. Today marks four weeks for me. I got my ecig and while I did finish off the pack of analogs I had (waste not, want not) I haven't had one since. I think going with a fairly strong juice—24 mg—helped a lot. I even converted my nephew—who had tried ecigs in the past without success—who found this the first juice that satisfied his nic cravings. I'm going to drop down to 16mg next time just to see how it goes.

Well today I smoked a whole pack of Newport reds, Today while Turkey hunting, I told my buddy If I call in a big ol Tom turkey for you to shoot you flat give those cancer sticks up today and vape from now on. A deal was struck hands shook. At 9:15 am I called in a beautiful 10" bearded tom to within 25 yards. My buddy made a perfect shot and now has a nice trophy to remind him of the day he Put down the analogs. The newly opened pack of Newport reds was sitting ever so comfortably on the stump next to my truck as I smoked um all at the same time with a 3.5" #5 Turkey magnum from 1 foot distance. I gave up my Turkey hunt today to call in My buddies first bird and set in motion the start of his new life and I FEEL GOOD AS HELL about it.

That's how I saw it, they had it coming. lol I will once again tomorrow be Hunting this time for me. I have noticed many more deer around me since I no longer smoke. Had 5 deer within 40 yards of our Turkey spot this morning just feeding down wind of us. I bought this Property 10 years ago for hunting. I lease the 450 acres out to a local Farmer so his crops keep the wildlife coming. Our agreement is a cheap lease and he leaves 4% standing in the field to feed the wildlife on the property. I will keep the deer heard to a reasonable amount so he doesn't loose crops. Been working out for both of us nicely. I Also noticed I can walk much further before my legs get tired and I'm winded. So giving up the analogs is already paying benefits back to me. That pack of smokes looked like they went through a shredder lol little bits of paper and tobacco everywhere.

They really did have it coming! They got my daddy, and nearly got my mom too, but it looks like all the years of wine is going to do her in, since she quit smoking about 10 yrs ago, FINALLY. She quit drinking too, about 5 yrs ago, but I think it was too late. Glad I quit that crap when I was only 31, before it had a chance to do PERMANENT damage to my liver.

It's funny about animals; when I smoked, our cat would NEVER lick my right hand, and only tentatively my left... now she wants to lick my hands constantly! Maybe she's saying how much she loves me, and is glad I quit those smelly things. :D Then again, sometimes in the midst of the licking, she tries to take a bite out of me! Not sure what that's about; cats are so weird!

Good hunting! :thumb:

I got me some Turkey breasts marinating in Zesty Italian salad dressing. I'm eating good tonight downed a big old Tom May possibly be the 3rd largest bird in the state. My biggest Turkey I guess good things are happening for me because I'm giving up the bad things. I don't know but I know them chunks of breast meat sizzling on the grill later are well worth it.

So today I'm in a royal farm store getting coffee this morning, A lady is staring at me like crazy. I'm not what some would call a good looking man so I knew it wasn't for a date. I paid for my coffee and was walking to my truck when I heard her yelling hey sir. I stopped and she came up to me and said is that one of those electric cigarettes you have in your pocket. I had forgotten It was in there and hanging out. I said yes it is would you like to see it she replied I would and I want to know where to get one. After 1/2 an hour we were still sitting on the tail gate of my truck talking about the medical issues we have had due to smoking. Our stories were like carbon copies except I have taken back my life and hers was still hanging in the balance. I found a new friend today we exchanged Information an went our separate ways. When I got home I had an email from her thanking me for pointing her to a good store to buy a vaping device. I had called ahead to the store and told them she was a friend and what she was looking for so they took good care of her and sold her what she needed only.

Her email said Thank you so much one for taking the time to help me out today, and two for your service to our country. Its not often you find someone willing to give you a few minutes of there time let alone a half an hour. I got exactly what you said I needed and the store clerk had everything out and ready to show me how it works from A-Z. Tomorrow morning I'm going to attempt to quit smoking and start vaping. I hope to be able to call or text you for support like you said. I am so glad I met you today. I wasn't going to approach you, but I knew it was now or never, so I took a chance and found you to be a very respectful Gentleman who is passionate about helping others.
Again thank you, I hope to talk with you again soon.

This is what it's all about folks I have gotten off the analogs because of vaping. and yes because I was determined to take my life back. Helping someone else do the same feels so good I gave her plenty of encouragement, and when she left she was pumped about quitting.
I hope she does well

That's really great. Yesterday we were outside, waiting out a sudden blackout, apparently some igmo hit a pole or something. But one of our neighbors came out, asked if our power was out too, yes, 652 people were out of power, according to the power co. when we called it in. She asked how we've been, since she hadn't seen us in a while, and I said the reason you haven't seen me out here hanging out on the porch is because I quit smoking cigarettes, with THIS -- held up my Sigelei+T3S -- and she thought that was great, and said she wished her husband would try that; I made sure to mention that all the garbage being reported on the news about e-cigs was just that, 100% GARBAGE, that they're safe, they really work, and don't cost nearly what cigarettes do. She nearly ran back into the house, probably to tell the old man what she'd just heard. :D

I won't hold my breath; I certainly know very well how stubborn old smokers can be (I was one of the stubbornest not very long ago), but with his wife to encourage him, I'd say that's a "maybe." When folks get to middle-age, they start noticing how they have to cough up all that junk every morning, and of course begin to realize that these bodies are not immortal. So maybe he'll be another convert. :D :thumb:

PS: did you say you were a Marine? Or should I say, *are* a marine? My husband was, and tells me constantly "once a marine, always a marine! er-ugh!" :D

I am a Marine Ret. 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Corp. 1st Marine division. Camp Pendleton Ca. E5 Scout/Sniper 88-05. Very true Once a Marine always a Marine. However I found there is no room in family life for a Marine, so I don't live my life by the code anymore, I do what my wife tells me to now. Makes for a much happier household ;) You tell your hubby this old Devil Dog says Semper Fi, We will forever be Brothers in arms.

Keep at your neighbors wife, with enough pushing all things are possible. He wants to quit, he just doesn't know it yet. lol
Tomorrow will mark 5 weeks off analogs for me, and I honestly don't ever want another one in my face ever again. I can smell and taste things again, and its fantastic. Tomorrow I will take the little lady (my Wife) down to the fishing hole and wet a line. We walk around a lake fishing for Bass. I bet I make it all the way around without have to sit down and rest. Just Received a new Russian 91%, I'm gonna go build a coil for it, so I can vape it wile fishing tomorrow. Will talk to you good folks later.

Very cool; my ol man is just a regular guy now, but when he works, you can really see that MC training! Especially when we've moved... god talk about single-minded! :D

His info was: HQ Company, 1st Marine Brigade, 1st Marine Division; 29 Palms, E5 MMO; Kaneohe Bay, E6 MMO. He got out in '83, which was 3 yrs before I ever met him. He's always been proud to tell me that every promotion he got, he got with "Meritorious Mast" -- I don't know *exactly* what that means, but it sounds good to me. :D He was also W Coast, said to tell you he "marched to Pendleton," when he was in boot at San Diego. Considering what he's told me of himself pre-MC, I know that the MC "made a man of him." :thumb:

I'm quite sure you'll find that walk a lot easier; used to, when we'd be out shopping or something, walking thru the parking lot I was always lagging behind or scrambling to catch up, huffing and puffing like a bellows; after 26 yrs of marriage, I guess he got *slightly* used to that, because now *I* am the one going "come on, catch up!" :D

Have fun... with the fishing, and especially the Russian.. :D

Meritorious Mast would be in high honors or highest regards, sounds like he had a good stay in the Corp. I can assure you the Marines made him man I know they did me. I remember my gunny always said, your momma and daddy made you, I'm gonna make you a man and above that a Marine. Best thing I ever did with my life was walk into the recruiters office. My Father hated it he was a Nam vet Army Ranger ...... him off royally, But I wanted to be my own man. I held the Marines in the highest regards as the best fighting force the world had ever seen. I still believe that today, but I have to come to know all soldiers are brothers regardless of Branch you choose. We have all saved each others bacon at one point or another.
My Father died Proud of me especially for completing Sniper training, but I don't think he ever forgave me for not going into the Army like he did. My Father was the end of a long family history in the Army.

I have my Russian 91% built and full of some Colombiana Juice from Legend e juice. It has a coffee flavor very rich and slightly creamy just like I like my coffee. I gotta tell you I am very pleased with my 3.1 and now the Russian. The flavor that comes from these units is second to none, period. I believe I'm gonna buy 4-5 more of these units and retire my other atty's to my collection. I'm waiting on anther 3.1 this one a clone of my Aut. 3.1 I may get clones if it vapes as good as my other 2

Amen brother, its different with everyone, the moment i got my ego i never picked up another smoke, my mother however is still doing both! she says vaping isnt enough! While me and my sister find a good vape using a good aspire tank is equal to a cig.

For some that's just the way it is. Some folks me included just plain enjoy smoking. For the longest time I wasn't willing to stop, it was what I liked to do. I mean its hard to say one thing that smoking doesn't go hand in hand with. I wont bore anyone with the list because you already know what I mean. I was just one of the lucky ones to find vaping satisfying enough to stop from day one. As long as your mom stays focused on quitting, I'm sure se will do ok and if nothing else she is smoking less and that always a good thing. Keep encouraging her, my wife and kids telling me how proud they were of me helped me through it all. If she decreases her smoking by one a day or even one a week its better then nothing, and it shows progress. Help her set up small goals to be smoking X amount by this time. Each goal she achieves is a Positive motivation no matter how small the goal. That's powerful stuff to the human mind.

Very Happy to read your story and take in all the advice in this Thread. I am a little different as I am quitting smokeless tobacco. I picked up an Itaste MVP 2.0 and got several flavors (even a couple that resemble my brand of chew). It has been about 10 hours now and I haven't even thought about putting a pinch in. I hope vaping will continue to hold my urges as so far it has been a quite pleasant experience.

Awesome and congratz on making the decision to stop using dip, I know several folks who use it, and I also did for a time in the Corp. When an engagement prevented me from smoking. I wish you all the best.

Good luck Walt. Its been about two months for me sense I smoked a cigarette. I have a coworker who had been vaping for a while. I finally asked him about it, went to my local vape shop that weekend, bought my first ecig and supplies and haven't smoked sense. Man if Id only known it would be this easy and vaping would be this enjoyable I could have quit years ago. I hope you can find whatever it takes to help you quit.

If you can afford it id get a decent VV/VW mod and an aspire nautilus tank. That makes a tremendous difference over the disposable things out there.

This is such good advice. I wish someone would have told me to skip all the Ego stuff and go straight to something like an MVP2. Having the right setup makes a world of difference.

Sure does I used the ego to get started first week and bought the SVD rite away. I did still use the clearbeauties for another week as they weren't that bad. Once I bought the first tank atomizer it was a world of difference.
I highly recommend getting a VV VW battery device, unfortunately most folks aren't willing to forgo the expense of those devices, till they know vaping is gonna help. Its not all bad though as most often the blister package kits to start off with are rite around $30. I gave mine to a friend to get him started so it went to good use.
