Ok, gonna make a general comment here....and since I am a noob to the forum as well as to vaping (still waiting on my first ecig to get here), I will probably get a bunch of erotten tomatoes thrown at me but would somebody PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pass this on. I will admit, I have been looking at that forum and since money is really tight with us, well, if I can pick up something for vaping there cheaper than ordering from a supplier, I will do it. Those who are posting for sale posts on ecig models, would you please include a picture of your model or a link to a picture of your model that you are wanting to sell. Thanks from a noob and please know that it will help a lot. OK, now I will duck under the computer until the rotten tomatoes stop flying

Thank you for your response LowThudd. Over the last couple of weeks I have looked at way too many pictures of way too many models and styles and when you combine that with all of the information I am having crammed into my head everyday at school for dental assisting......well, it can get to be a little much for the almost 40yr old brain to keep track of. Thus the reason for asking about pics or links to pics being posted.

Thank you for the link to the above model, unfortunately at this time I am looking for something in a pen style model (DSE 801 hopefully in either aluminum or silver color).

It is recommended that a picture be added to a classified post but it can't be made mandatory. As you can imagine, some have no camera, no idea how to post a pic, or other various reasons. Although it's a good idea and has been recommended, some will do it and some will not.

Welcome to the forum!

This can be troublesome.

I'm an avid member on a yo-yo forum because it's one of my many hobbies and they do this.
The things you have to put in place to relieve scammers is, in short... exhausting.

The forum has a feedback forum for users, to add to their reputations every time they make a sale or trade.
Generally speaking, a user can make around 10-15 trades or sales, or purchases before they are generally respected.

Another point to make is that there is never a scam made in selling a product, it isn't possible at least on your end.
Either they pay... or they don't.
If they don't, don't ship.
That's easy.

That's the main way new members make their reputation, buy buying.

It's something to consider.
If you're going to have a Trade/Sell area, you MUST have a feedback AND a reporting area so that buyers and sellers know who and trust the people they will be transacting with and can get started themselves with good feedback after they make their purchases to get started.

Feedback for user reputation.
Reporting so that scammers can be well known if they try to hit up someone a second time.

Proxies are easy, guys and a lot of people know about them.
It's easy to come back no matter how much you think you hit the "banned" button.

Also, disallow any user that is under 100 posts or so. Let them earn it, if they're willing to get up to the post count reliably and with informative posts, then they should be able to be trusted, at least on the small-term.
