Hello to everyone on the forum. I am a newbie on this site, and a newbie to forum discussions overall!

Ok formalities aside, I am switching to ecigs and I am very particular. I have always smoked, Eve 120's. They are very slim in diameter and long. I can't smoke a regular sized cig, it's a psychological thing. Regular sizes make me feel like I am puffing on a cigar, so I am looking for a long skinny model ecig.

I used to smoke ultra lights, so a little nicotine is fine for me. My husband recently switched to the BLU ecig model and he hasn't touched a regular cigarette since. Very proud of him, and now after 20+ years of smoking, I'm more than ready to leave the bad chemicals behind.

So all suggestions would be more than welcomed.

1. Long skinny model
2. I'm open to a rubber tip, I'm vintage.
3. Lightweight would be nice
4. Not too complicated, I have read posting about filling stuff up??? What's that about??
5. I'm going to Med School, so budget friendly

Please help my fellow Forum Members, Thank You so very much in advance. :)

Hi and welcome to ECF. When you say long and skinny, ultralight, and light weight, the model that comes to mind is the M400 series. It's about the slimmest of the ecig models around and comes in 3 lengths, the 401, 402, and 403. They do have a couple of drawbacks though. They don't hit very hard, and the batteries don't last very long. That's a common problem with slim batteries in general though.

Welcome & congrats!

Unfortunately I'm not aware of anything that would be as small as the Eve, gotta have some room for that battery! The smallest ones would be 510, 4081, 801 & 808. They're all going to be roughly the size of a regular analog and longer.

Here are a few of the suppliers-forums to check out;
510 Liberty Flights
4081 SmokeStik
801 Vapor Kings
808 Smokeless Image, Vapor4Life

You'll also be able to find out about any specials, discounts on the suppliers forums also.

Get your post count up to 5 non-spammed posts and you can post in other areas of the forum, if you need help just ask!

anything long and skinny that you don't have to fill up is gonna be a piece of junk and expensive to maintain.
Umm, did you have something helpful to add to this or just negativity?

Hi Miranda, I am new at this too but there is a company that is coming out with a line of ecigs just for women. Called Vapor-Couture. I believe they are part of V2 cigs. My girlfriend is waiting patiently for these to come out. Here is the link if you want to check it out Vapor-Couture : eCigs.com - Your #1 source for electronic cigarettes.

Hi and welcome to the forum, what I did was get a 510 with a mega batttery they are pretty dependable and have a longer life than the short batteries, also if you wwwllitecigusa.net want to up grade to an EGO or any thing with 510 threading and they will also use cartos if you want to go that way.You will probably still have to get a starter kit for the charger etc.I never had any problems with mine.

Personally I would say skip the slim ecigs bc most of them are very overpriced and they have very small batteries that need to be recharged very frequently. Also slim ecigs can only use standard resistance attys/cartos bc low resistance attys/cartos are only for bigger battery PVs. I would say check out the kGo, E-power, or Riva instead bc their good PVs that are affordable and have very good battery life, but I dont know if youd feel their too big for you.

If you really only want to get a slim ecig, I would get a Volt, Bloog, Halo G6, Joye510, or one from Vapor4life. They are the best slim ecigs that people seem to like and their not really overpriced like most other slim ecigs. The SmoklessImage Volt is prob the best and most popular slim ecig.
Keep in mind though that even the slim ecigs are not the same size as a regular cig. Most of them are fatter and longer than a regular cig, and even the best slim ecig still has small batteries that need to be recharged frequently.

As for what to use, I recommend using cartos. You can buy pre-filled ones, but they are expensive and greatly limit your flavor options. Your better off buying blank ones and filling them yourself. Their a good bit cheaper and will also allow you to use the 1000s of juices available from an array of juice vendors. Filling cartos is very easy to do and really isnt a hassle at all once you get it down. You could fill a few and then carry them with you to use throughout the day.
For a slim ecig I would def use cartos instead of getting a tank system. Cartos are a lot more consistant, while tanks can be finicky at times and leak.

Drip tips are really for direct dripping, but a lot of people also put them on cartos and use them as a mouthpiece.
You also want to have an atomizer and drip tip so you can test new juices. I dont recommend filling a carto with a juice youve never tried bc then if you dont like it, you basically just waste a carto. With an atty and drip tip, you can drip a few drops directly onto the atomizer so you can see if you like it. Then once you know you like a juice, fill a carto.

First, welcome to ECF & congrats on your decision! As you've already seen from previous answers, ecigs that look/feel/taste like real cigs (analogs) are not really popular around here. There are a few reasons for this, the most obvious - battery life. When you decide to quit smoking analogs, you do NOT want something that is going to die on you. It's hard enough to quit without being in a panic because your batt died!

I put down my last analog just over 2 weeks ago, so maybe I can share my experience & you'll understand better where everyone is coming from. When I quit, I had smoked Virginia Slim Menthol Ultra Lights for around 16-17 years. I was not a brand-hopper... I never EVER switched brands for any reason. So when I decided to try ecigs (PV - Personal Vaporizer), I wanted something that looked like my cig, felt like my cig & tasted like my cig. My husband had started vaping exclusively (no analogs) a month before I had. Every flavor he handed me tasted weird & I didn't like it. Every PV he handed me felt weird in my hand. It just wasn't the same. It took a full month before I realized that I didn't WANT something that looked or tasted the same. I was trying to QUIT smoking, not replicate it.

I started with a simple 1100 mah eGo battery with a 1.5 ohm atomizer. I shied away from all menthol juices (I direct dripped onto the atomizer so that I could sample more flavors - then decided that I preferred to drip rather than use pre-filled cartomizers).

I would suggest that you google all of the models of PVs that have been suggested in this thread so you can take a look at them. Then you can look them up on youtube to see reviews done by individuals who used them. You can also learn how to fill them, what it means to direct drip, and all of the other "terminology" that I'm sure has your head spinning at the moment (I know MINE was, even with a live-in vaping encyclopedia (my hubby)).

When I first started this, I didn't want to use something that would make me "look stupid". After some deep thought & being really honest with myself I came to my fantasy-shattering realization. Smoking a cigarette made me look stupid. Smoking, in and of itself, is stupid, LOL. I'd outgrown it... I was ready to move on.

I'm telling you all of this to hopefully help you a bit and save you some money. It's worth it to spend a little more on something that will actually work well & help you kick the analogs to the curb.

Good luck with your journey & remember that we've all been there! You can do this & there is plenty of support here if you need it!

I also wanted to add... you might want to look online and see if there is a brick & mortar store near you that sells vaping supplies. I wouldn't buy from them... just go in to check them out. You'll get a better understanding of what you're dealing with when the employee explains it to you while its in your hands.

Again, don't buy from them unless you really REALLY want it right then. The suppliers on this forum are honest & trustworthy and you'll get a MUCH better price ordering it online than you will in a store.

If you don't have a store in your area, well, go back to youtube and read everything you can find here, LOL. :)

Welcome to ECF and congratulations on your decision! Here's a fun (& pretty realistic) look at "The 4 Steps of Vaping":
4 Stages of Vaping - YouTube (Keeping in mind, of course, that anything you learn in here, for free, can be a lesson you won't have to pay for out there in the marketplace.)

Happy Vaping! :vapor:
