I was TOTALLY! gna buy the atlantis, buy i have a rule about things that say...its totally awsome but...IT WILL BLOW YOUR FREAKINN FACE OFF!!!
THAT IS ABSOLUTLY CRAY CRAY!!!!

I didn't see the warning....but if it is on the new sub ohm coil heads it is smart to put a warning out there. Basically, if you are going to vape with practically no electrical resistance you need to know the limits of your battery. Sub Ohm coils draw a lot of current out of a battery.

People who do not use regulated mods like the Provari have to be careful that they do not use a battery that cannot produce enough amperage to support the sub ohm coil. When you quickly discharge a battery and overtax it, it can go into thermal runaway and yes, it can explode.

We are constantly warning vapers who use mods with no power regulation to use batteries with the highest possible "maximum continuous discharge rating" and to charge them frequently. Also, we suggest to them that if they are building coils below 1 Ohm that they should enlighten themselves as to how many amps a build will draw by using an Ohm's Law calculator.

You have 'Varis so you don't need to worry about that because the Provari will cut off before it will let you draw all of the current from the battery. In some cases, if the Ohms on your coil are too low, it will not fire because the device itself has an amp limit.

You can use coils down to 0.8 Ohms on your Provari 2.5 with no worries.

(16) Explain it for the dumb noob: Ohm's Law calculations.

Yep, that is a Baditude Blog....

Battery safety is serious business. I know you are being "cute Kelly" ;) but I am going to stick to Ohms when I discuss this with you because others will read it and I don't want people getting confused about something as important as electrical safety.

Your current rig is safe Kels, it won't let you make mistakes.

Ok its time for more learning! i just got this from my friend and i dunno what it is or how it works (thats probably same reason she gave it to me) it says e generation on it and has 2 tanks with 4 wics that look like you have thread them all seperatly. So anyone who can help me gets a gold star!!! IMG_20141130_155402.jpg

I've been vaping for about 6 weeks so I'm still a newbee also. I started with an Elvt regulated mod. 18650 battery. Works good but as I have figured out with vaping there is a lot of trial an error. Hang in there, the smell and taste of cigs makes me sick now and I wouldn't go back to them if they were free!!
As far as tanks I only use aspire with BVC coils. I feel like I was lucky to pick these from the gitgo. I have several nautilus 5 mil full size for two all day vapes I like and several more min nautilus 2 mil for special flavors I vape off and on.
Hope this helps. Just keep experimenting you will figure it out and it is worth the effort

I honestly think it was wayyy easier to quit smoking then it was to start vaping! trial and error is the best method! Finding this site tho has saved me ALOT of money! i always start here first LOL! anything ive tried to do or buy on my own has resulted in the garbage or epic failure! (dont ever try a cardio without knowing how!) I do HIGHLY recommed the provari! i went back and tried my old itaste clk and its sucky compared to my provari...i may have no clue why but it is!

I had one of those once. It actually vapes pretty nicely for a top feed atomizer. It fell apart after a week. You fill it by unscrewing the top plate/cap/thingy that the drip tip fits in, insert a needle or needle tipped bottle into one of the four wick holes and fill the bottom tank. wait for the juice to saturate the wick (primer puffs help) then vape till it's empty. repeat until it's time to change the wick, then throw it away.

Yea you do need plyers its VERY HARD TO GET OFF! i wasent a fan of the mini i love the big one...i just orderd the atlantis to

The Atlantis to use on the ProVari? It's not designed for that. The lowest resistance a ProVari 2.5 will fire is 0.9Ω and the Atlantis heads I've seen are 0.5Ω. You need a device and a battery designed for sub-ohming to use the Atlantis.

When I first started out vaping,I bought my first setup in one of those cig stores that is trying to sell ecig too on the side...they didnt have much of experience but did try to push the cheapy ecig starter kits you can find already packaged up that comes with a charger (you can prob figure out what Im talking about). Anyhow,I ended up not listening to them & went straight for the Kanger glass Mini Protank (the original version) tank & a 1300mAh Vision Spinner. So glad I did cause with looking back (started vaping March '14) I would have upgraded to the spinner.

I think the best way to see what you like is to actually find a vapor store & talk with the guys there. They can let you feel/inspect & all that good stuff. I think its really hard to see what something is online before you buy.

I think I rather stay with tanks then anything else like drippers & such. You dont have to refill or mess with it as much. Also,I'll only get tanks that are glass. I DIY with coil rebuilding & mixing up my own juice & last thing I need is for a juice to ruin my setup.

I think youtube would be a good place to look for reviews on items your interested in...that way you can get a feel at what they look like & work vs just seeing a pic or reading about it.
