New member from Canada having issues :(

Hey hi Everyone!!

So im new here and to the whole vaping experience...

Ive been smoking players rich regular since 2004 about 20-30cig a day.

2weeks ago, I tried an e-cig and WOW... now im addicted...




Im using an Itaste CLK 1280 + an aspire nautilus mini at1.8Ohms... running it 4.5V to 5V on high air flow... that's the way I like it!!!


So... so far all the question I had on the internet led to this forum so I figured I would register now because I cannot find anyone else having the same issue as I do...

Let me explain... the first week using my kit was AWESOME...but after a week at 4-5ml a day... I was forced to change the coil because of a burnt taste...
Now I dont mind changing coil... for now im not planning on having my kit rebuild able or making my own coil or what ever... I just want it to work... now the last 4days have been horrible... I gotta change my coil every day... I think this is not normal right?!

Since day 1 im using the same liquid...

but now yesterday... I felt an unusual resistance in the airflow, so I decided to blow instead of inhaling... and some dark liquid come out of the air hole... while my liquid in the tank is pretty clear hehe... im guessing again this is not normal right?! And that is with a brand new coil assembly...


Now... yesterday night... I unassembled the whole thing... put it in warm water... then vodka... then warm water then vodka and let dry overnight... This morning... the taste is discussing!!! tasted like alcohol... anyhow... middle of the day... taste is good for 1-5 hit... then airflow seems blocked again!!! when I blow I see dark liquid again....

I was cigarette free for 2weeks until yesterday... and im really sad about that...!!!

im about to trow the whole thing to the garbage really... anyone ever experienced that?!?! am I doing something wrong there???


BTW, when I change the coil, I put maybe 4-5drops in the packing so its wet... and I do quite ofter just inhale without starting the coils... I heard it would help...


please guide me

Id also add that the liquid im using states 60% and 05mg/ml...

I used a 70% 05mg/ml too...

and I did some 1/3 2/3 mix too...


could that be why its messed up???

Welcome aboard. I would get a few completely different set ups and juices (they needn't be expensive) so you have a different experience to fall back on when one fails you - as it most assuredly will. You can (and will) go back and forth. This eliminates the cigarette from the equation.

But would love to figure out what is happening with this setup...

Not familiar with your set up-I have Ego Spinners with variable voltage and I can't vape that high, or I get a burned taste. Try turning it down? Definitely get back ups and backups for your backups.

When you say that high, you mean Watt right?!
I'm like between 10.27W to 13.88W... used to work fine honestly... I doubt this is my issue...

That sounds familiar; I went through a similar learning curve; at first I would run a coil for a week, and then after a while I was changing coil every day - because the slightest maybe problem had me thinking maybe the coil needs changing.

the dark liquid coming out sounds like gunk collecting in the coil!

maybe it is partly loose wick material colored by eliquid
