I think it really depends on how reliably you can replicate the build of your coils - vv/vw allows you to accommodate any variance in them to hit the vape you like. But since i do the same thing every time (which is close to a definition of madness) i find i can make coils to fit the way i like to vape, rather than have the device adjust it for me.

But it's a useful feature to have.

When I first got it, I had a small collection of atomizers that ranged from 1.6 ohms up to 2.5, so I adjusted accordingly. Now I use a rebuildable so I usually only move my dial when I build a new coil (though even then not much since I'm usually within .1 ohm) or flood the atty. I put a smudge of whiteout on my dial at the setting I use most now, always easy to find again if I crank it up to clear a flood.

My coils are consistent...hmmm. I sure do like that button.

It's only the definition of madness if you're expecting a different result :)

To get myself back on topic, I only adjust the voltage if needed after a new coil, similar to others.

And yes, the button on the side is dead sexy!

This is a very good point. I have a VVGrand and RM2 and I coil it differently than my two minis running hornets. And because of the different juices in the minis, the hornets are also different. I keep notes on wrap numbers and gage when experimenting. My memory for that kind of stuff can be very misleading. I know this from experience.

I add several more wraps to the coils I make for my VVG because more wraps on a micro coil = better results. They average about 2.5 - 3 ohms. Then I turn up the voltage to compensate.

I also run mine at a low power setting.

The consistency (no drop off) is great.

The in hand feel is amazing. Side button is excellent.

There is another one in my future for sure :)

I change mine throughout the day sometimes.

I like it hitting harder in the morning then turn it down as the day progresses often.

It also depends on my mood, or if I'm sick, or even what I'm having to eat.

I can make the same juice taste like 3 different flavors just by cranking the dial up or down :)

I hadn't thought about the flavor variance...thanks!

I use my VV Grand 99% of the time. The side button is awesome....and it'll spoil you. Then there's the consistency. It hits the same every time (very little drop off) up to the very end. With the Grand and the 18650 battery, from the very first hit, it's actually dropping off. The VV keeps it constant, which I like very much. It feels great in my hand....just the right size and weight. I don't change the setting very much because I wrap coils that are very much the same every time. BUT....I do turn it up now and then....like right after a meal....then turn it back down when I'm just mindlessly vaping. I'll say, I love it.
