Has happened several times since I have started vaping. The simply do not look close enough to see it is an e cig. In the past I would always say yes. Had been buying analogs at the indian reservation for a few years, so the cost of me giving a cig to a stranger wasn't massive. Now I say "it's electric, I don't have anymore." They look closer and say "You fooled me! Now I see". Sometimes they ask questions, sometimes they walk away. I have thought it would be a neat idea for a disposable carto cover with a small hole so a stranger can be offered a puff...might change their life. They might go out and buy a disposable that day... or look up a kit on the net... Just something that didn't pass germs. Is there something like that?

I've heard of lots of folks carrying a few carto condoms with holes... exactly like you mentioned.. for that purpose. It's not a terrible idea.

Or, if you're oldschool and happen to have some regular cartridges lying around.. slip that on an atty (might fit a carto?). You can toss that too.

I carry a pack of these in my APV carrying case for anyone that wants to try my devices. One of these can be slid over just about any drip tip. They have a very nice soft feel on the lips, much like having a binkie in your mouth. (I was going to go with another analogy of a woman's body part, but it likely would have been )

I got mine from Totally Wicked after following a link and then ordered them; I went to their website and couldn't find them anywhere.

The vapeshop I go to uses those little carto covers for their juice tasting station (btw, if you have a local shop and havent taken advantage of one of those you need to). They are plenty long and work just fine in my experience. Or just carry those little alcohol swab packs with you. They should be good enough to clean someones cuties off. Personally though, I just let them try it. Ive commonly swapped smoking devices/cigarettes with people without thinking twice but I know some are germaphobes.

I like the idea of turning smokers on to vaping so I make sure to carry a "friend" tip in my vapecase. Vaping has actually made me nicer than when I used to smoke cigs. When I was a smoker I was bombarded with people looking for a freebie. At $6 a pack I started to get a bit irritated. I got to the point that, when asked for a smoke, I would tell them I didn't smoke while puffing away on a cig. I got many dirty looks but they never knew how to respond to that. I even had a guy ask if I had an extra smoke and I proceeded to open my pack, count them and then told him that this pack only came with 20 cigs so I didn't have an extra.

It is amazing how many people are out there looking for free smokes but when they realize I am using an e-cig they lose interest.

I am always faced with that decision, except people always want to try my e cig, which I obviously, am not going to do. But I just take out my microlite, instead of my titan, and put in my old carto, and just let them try it, I clean it, and never use it, it is just for friends.

But for my titan DCT, I might actually buy some of those plastic covers...

Actually, although I don't often go to bars, when I do and there is a open air outdoor patio where smoking is still allowed, my equipment attracts a lot of attention. I have bright colored tanks and drip tips, so people are very curious to know what is that thing. I sometimes ask if they want a toot, and if they respond positively, I pull out the baggy of condom covers. Then they trip out over THAT, too.

I have let a couple friends try. Like my housemate and my best friend. Would let my mother try, attempting to get her to switch over. But that's probably the limit without a 'cig condom' lol. Strangers do not actually ask to try, but I would like to be able to safely offer. Gonna get some of those covers.

I am using the blu pack and this like $1 organizer to carry all my stuff around. Mostly blu cartos, blu usb charger and a cig 2 O usb charger. The wall charger just gets thrown in my purse. Yes I love the situation now as they see your not smoking an analog. Funny how quick they move on. Whereas if you had a smoke they're all friendly and fake. I used to hate it even more if I was smoking rolling tabacco and they'd ask to have a rollie and stand there dipping there mits into your .... anyway hated that. Vultures mate,

Yes I just carry an old drip tip for friends to try.

Then again I don't think we are too far away from having them ask for a smoke and see your device and pull out a an old battered device with an atomizer sticking out of it and asking for some drops of liquid.. (trust me .. enjoy the peace whilst it lasts)
