For you menthol folks?

My wife has doubted the ecig use, says she'd try it when she sees it works for me.. Well its been 3 days since I smoked a real cig and now she is entertaining the idea of one. However the few samples that I have had her try, she DID NOT enjoy. She is a menthol smoker, the thought of some of the fruits and pie flavors really turn her off (for now atleast) I need to find a menthol sampler pack for her. She is very selective, so I need to try an hit a homerun on the first swing... Where do you guys suggest I try ? I know nothing about menthol's, she smokes Doral menthol 100's fwiw....

Backwoods brew has a good menthol and you chose the menthol strength. If she's never vaped before you could always get small bottles of different mg strength and different amounts of menthol. You could always mix them together.

I got the light menthol for my neighbor and it tastes similiar to a menthol cig (tobacco + menthol). I have the high menthol and it's less of a tobacco taste and heavier on the menthol.

I vape nhalers nuport, but he also has 555 menthol, more of a tobacco/menthol.

You could always get a good tobacco juice and add menthol to it. Either a menthol juice or menthol crystals. I've never tried that, but I do like Vapor Bombs artic ice (no tobacco, just menthol) and add that to a lot of my juices.

I love menthol so these are my favorites I've tried over the years...

Halo... great menthol flavors available in three different menthols. They also sell smaller bottles. Their sample pack only has one of the regular menthols in it. E-liquid / Smoke Juice by Halo

If she wants a more tobacco like menthol, you can always mix more of one of your tobacco flavors into the menthol liquids or just buy menthol flavoring drops (no nicotine) to add to a tobacco liqiud

I was a menthol smoker also but can't stand a plain menthol vape. What I have found to cut the menthol down to make it enjoyable for me, is a mixture of mint and menthol. Cold Creek by nitelitevapor.com. They are the only vendor that I buy my menthol/mint juice from. My problem with straight menthol is that it reminds me of Vick's Vapor Rub. With the mint added, it takes that flavor out and like I said, makes it enjoyable.

Maybe try a mint sampler for her. That way its close enough, but she wont expect the exact taste. Peppermint, creme de menthe, even cinnamon. When I smoked it was menthols too. These are the flavors I like. Also try mint choc. Ice cream. Its pretty good too. That would be baby step toward the other flavors

Thx, Im looking into everything you guys have posted... Just for clarification, the cartos for the KR808's WILL fit on a Volt right? Id rather stick with prefilled for her at first, I want to stick with auto batts for her on the front end...

Yes, any KR808 carto will fit the volt.

If your looking for prefilled cartos, V4L has prefilled KR808 cartos. They might have a menthol sampler pack for her to try. I've never been a fan of prefilled, to me they all taste pretty bad. But you might hit on one she might like.

I was a menthol smoker for years and my two favorites are MyPVShop's Menthol and Rocky Mountain Vapor's Menthol.

And my absolute favorite is to mix the PVShop Menthol 50/50 with Backwoods Brew's 555. It's lovely.

Ex newport smoker here. I enjoy the VG Tennessee cured with a little menthol extract added. The vaperite Wisconsin frost is nice also but I hated it when it first arrived. Almost a month later it is still getting better. It's more like a Marlboro Smooth flavor to me than regular menthol but still works.

There are alot of menthols at Vapor Renu, but my favorite has been the Re(4)nu menthol. Honey Wood Menthol is good for a change up. The Vapor Room has 555 Menthol that tastes close to a Doral menthol. I started on that one when I started vaping and it was really close! I don't like the fruity or dessert flavors either, I keep going back to menthol. I also got Cotton Candy, to add a little "sweetness" when I need it and I might get some minty juice to add, it sounds really good! I also can't stand the "just menthol" flavors, tastes yucky and too much like Vick's to me too. Good luck!

I can relate... I'm actually not big on many of the flavors either. I think menthol flavors need to continue using menthol as a primary liquid, possibly mixing other flavors into that base menthol liquid if they feel like experimenting. Peach, pineapple, maybe coconut... Some of the simpler flavors, they mesh well with the menthol, and it makes transitioning easier.

I smoked American Spirit Menthols and Nat Sherman Classics - more "organic" cigs than the standard brands, and transitioned nicely to iVape.net's "Carolina Crush". I've tried other menthol tobacco mixes, and they've got more of a 'dirty' flavor to them... I don't mean that in a bad way, there are folks who like that actual harsh cig taste and want to start there when coming into e-cigs... I prefer the smoother menthol flavor from iVape. All his liquids seem to get top notch review if you look around. I will agree with all the people who pointed me in that direction right from the start.

Thanks for the post - How WONDERFUL that a supplier would actually send out a "Free" sample - epsecially without ordering anything else . . . Ex B&H menthol lights, Marlboro menthol lights, and Camel menthe smoker - I love menthol but have only found a few that I like (so far).

The menthol from Ecopure is very good, very clean, but not much like an analog to my tastebuds. Still would be worth ordering a sample.

I like Halo's Truepure, altho it's not quite as menthol/fresh as I like. Still, I would give the nod to Halo's juice as it's not sweet, has a nice clean flavor, and is a bit closer to an analog.
