I would strongly advice people comming into diy, to try pg and vg by itself, unflavored and without nic. Also, take alittle spoon of each and taste it too.
Myself, and atleast two others here(Cyrus vap and EasyT), i've read in the nic comparison taste thread, finds pg to be sweeter than vg, and that pg basically tastes like alchoholic sirup by itself!. Vg is slightly sweet, and little musty/earthy in the taste, but pretty naturally tasting, while pg tastes more chemical and dry and sweeter in a non-naturally saccarin-like sweetness.
If you don't care to vape it by itself, which I strongly recommend though, then atleast taste alittle of each, as it gives a really good picture of what it vapes like. Again, vg tastes like a mild natural honey(vg is 60% as sweet as sugar) or alike, and pg is an alchoholicy sirup taste(thanks to EasyT for the nice description which is spot on

).
Anyway, I can vape unflavored at 50/50 pg/vg, but I can taste something annoying to me(pg!), so it's not really that pleasant, but OK. I cannot vape 70/30 pg/vg unflavored for the life of me! Tried recently, when running short on vg, and it was really rough! To me, max-vg with as much water as needed for wicking in a tank is pure bliss for me with unflavored!
No more changing around with flavors and growing tired of a flavor which you previously loved, as the mild taste of vg/water and nic just gets more and more enjoying to me as time goes on! Also, I really love that you need to rewick sooo much less!
Try it out and see for yourself
