Welcome to ECF.

1st off.... blow any primer out of the atty. It may not have any, but some/many do. It's an oil they put in there after manufacturing (VG maybe, IDK... prolly safe to vape... but tastes nasty). Blow it out with a lung full of air into a napkin.

If using a cart:
A) put 3 drops of juice in it as a primer. Put some juice on the cart "filler" material too.
B) Vape while holding down the button... a very light sizzle is normal.

Dripping:
A) Omit the cart. Use a drip tip. Prime a blown-out atty with 4 drops. Vape till it gets harsh. 3 drops. Vape. 3 drops. Vape. 3 drops. Vape. ........repeat forever.
B) Blow it out twice per day to keep it clean.

Did you get a 510 charger? Because you cannot charge a 510 on a random 510-threaded charger. Blu chargers (or any other 90mah Trio/L88b model charger) will fry 510's (Blu and other L88b's are reverse polarity). Ego-class fat battery chargers are too high mA output will damage slim batteries.

And you should have gotten atomizers between 2.5 and 3 ohms for slim batteries, not LR atomizers. What ohms did you get?

Also - new atomizers come with primer on them that tastes nasty like machine oil. Some blow out and rinse the atomizer then shake/blow it out and let it dry. Another way is this: * blow out the atomizer, drip 3-4 drops on the mesh bridge /\, wait for that to soak down to the coil, vape that mostly off without inhaling. repeat from *. repeat from * again but try inhaling.

It can be difficult to get a new atomizer to start vaporizing. if the atty is getting too hot, it does not have enough juice - add more, don't pop the atomizer and kill it. If it is cool and not vaping well, try blowing it out, make sure all threading (both side) are dry, and try again with one less drop.

Oh no! I have no idea!! Ok, I have a charger because I got the starter kit. It's the SRT 510 starter kit from myvaporstore. It's self-described as the generic version of the joye510. I just got the Joye510 atty to go with it.

It doesn't say anything about ohm's... I should have known better because madjack gave me such a detailed what I need to know post. I really thought I got the right stuff... I hope I did. The idea of just dripping the juice right into the atty sounds so obvious that it's a little intimidating.

I have my regular pv's that I don't plan on changing. I only ordered this set just to drip so I can try my juices without wasting my cartos.

*After looking at the website, it does specify some atty's as low-resistence. Is it safe to assume that if it doesn't specify, it's standard and ok to use?*

Sure if you got a kit there should be a charger and suitable atomizer. I am not that good at dripping. You may want to buy some unflavored no-nic PG to assist with switching flavors when testing juice samples. You can blow out the atty then drip plain PG (and optionally vape that until there is no flavor), then blow out and put in the next juice.

Did you decide to get into vaping with a manual? Most people (like me) go auto.

I had blu's about a year ago, and I wasn't crazy about them. They were too inconsistent, and at the first sign of stress, I "needed" a cigarette. I was looking for an excuse, really. The entire 2 weeks that I quit, I thought in terms of "when I smoke again..."

I got a manual this time around because I felt like I needed something with more power. Turns out, I didn't. I needed an auto to quit smoking, but one that worked all of the time. I had to order a different manual kit because I can't figure out the threading on the one I have, and I really want to drip. Plus, I have no impulse control and have to buy what's in my head or I will obsess about it until I get it :)

Dripping is better IMO. You know when to stop, kinda like a cigarette. Drip three drops, hit it 3-4 times, repeat and (to me) that's about the same as smoking an analog. Well, minus the nasty smell that would come from the overfilled ashtray when you are trying to make sure your analog is all the way out. Man I don't miss the smell of a burning cigarette filter.
