Using a sigelei Fuchai Duo 3 with 2 18650's (Sony VTC 5's rated at 20A). Mod says amps are 22A. If the batteries are rated at 20A. Is it safe? I'm using a .2 ohm tank. Thanks for the help.
Since using a regulated mod your coil ohms don't matter. P=I*V Since using 2 x 20A batteries and assuming 3V minimum voltage before shut down solve for W. 40A*3V=120W. Subtract 10% for Mod inefficiency = 108W plenty safe.
Hi and welcome. Plenty safe, no problem. Neither do you require forgiveness. I'd rather answer the same question a million times than have somebody blow themselves up because they didn't ask it.

You are fine. Mods like this that display "Amps" are only displaying the amps from the control board to the coils themselves (amp push), the second hidden one and the one to worry about is the amps the control board pulls from the batteries themselves (amp pull or amp supply).
Regulated Mod Amp Draw Calculator <- Regulated Mod Amp Calculator, select number of batteries your mod has, input the watts you are using, you can leave the efficiency rating alone if you do not know the exact efficiency rating of your mod, most it is 90% so is set default, click calculate.
